  • 1. That is amazing! Great job! 2. I honestly thought the "woo" was a cheering on type of "woo" and now I feel bad for all the times I thought I was cheering someone on by clicking "woo".
  • This is a GREAT idea! I love this. Thank you!
  • Would love to have multiple rooms, but for now, all in the same. So if I have mirrors for one type of class, it'll be mirrors for all. But based on the feedback here and some other sources, it seems like it's better to have them than not. Thank you!
  • Thank you for the insight! We have a whole wall of windows, a wall of kickboxing bags, and power racks on the short wall going to the back, so only one wall is practical/being considered for mirrors but I much appreciate the feedback!
  • I do the SAME thing. My boyfriend thinks I'm nuts, but I understand daily weight fluctuations, so I weigh every day to get the overall picture. I think as long as you can mentally handle being up a little after being down the day before, it's ok. If you are the kind of person who will let it ruin your day, it doesn't work.
  • This is such a good video! Thank you for sharing.
  • Birth control can help control PCOS. I'm interested to hear how your doctor appointment goes today. Good luck.
  • Consider calling your doctor's office and see if you can ask if they can at least advise you on this. It really is best to get a health professional who knows your situation. I totally get your frustration, especially as you are doing well and taking care of your health. I'd hate for something bad to happen. My thoughts,…
  • I am too. But I still experience it.
  • Any time I experience this, I realize I'm within a few days of my TOM. I think many women experience this, at least many of the women I've spoken to. I've even said things before like "I don't know what's going on with me, I'm so hungry even though I've eaten plenty" and the responding question is usually "Are you getting…
  • If you have insurance, consider checking to see if it covers registered dietitian visits. Mine covers three a year and it's a great way to have a registered dietitian look over my food and discuss any concerns. When I finally gave in and went to one last year she not only helped me tweak things I hadn't thought of, but…
  • This is a good idea, too and doesn't require me buying more things! Thank you. I will try this tonight.
  • There's no preparation to it. So unfortunately, not. I definitely need to check it, possibly with a weight such as one of the other posters mentioned. Thank you.
  • Thank you! This is helpful. I might buy a weight like that specifically to check/calibrate it!
  • Thanks, it is on my counter with nothing around it. I've turned it on and off a few times to make sure it was throwing up the same numbers. I can't figure out a known weight of anything, so I've been trying to figure out how to test it! It might be for packed weight, but it doesn't say so I don't know. I'm trying so hard…
  • I'm really having a hard time trusting the food scale now. I'm frustrated because for so long I was afraid to use one because I was afraid I'd become obsessive over it. But finally giving in to using it, I'm not sure whether or not to trust it. I bought one off of Amazon that was the most highly rated and reviewed one in…
  • Thank you! My bad this time.
  • That's one of the questions my dentist asks along with whether or not someone is a smoker and whether or not they've had braces in the past.
  • I just subscribed! You are inspirational and funny! Thanks for bringing a smile to my day. Keep up the great work.
  • I switched to diet and really didn't like the taste, and then went to the flavored/sweetened sparkling waters, then switched to all out non-sweetened seltzers. It was a gradual progression, but in the end, I'm very happy with seltzer now and gives me the same satisfaction of the carbonation. I don't miss regular soda.
  • You can always use cans or bottles as weights and remain seated or standing while doing arm exercises. Any movement is exercise so even if you can dance a bit while standing or sitting, or get in some reps of raising one leg at a time, etc... it's going to add up. Good luck!
  • I don't know if it's diet (I try to eat a low-inflammation diet) or medication, but my fatigue has improved over the last year. Typically, once I get up I'm able to continue and tend to feel somewhat better once I start moving. Hot showers in the morning help me get moving also!
  • Amazing! What a great story... and thank you for your service!
  • I agree with one of the other posters. If your doctor has cleared this type of weightloss, your doctor should be helping to guide you to a proper way to go about doing so. Weight loss has to do with calories, but proper nutrition is important and consuming too few will almost guarantee malnutrition. Working with a doctor…
  • What amazes me is the focus of what any body should be. I'm white and have been told my entire life that I'm built like a black woman. I personally think I'm built like me. And if you are healthy and your doctor thinks you and your goals are healthy and realistic, no one else really gets a say! My doctor says while I'm…
  • I agree, step by step. You are already here! Off to a good start! Little changes will add up to make a big difference!
  • I treat myself to one or two squares of good dark chocolate every night. It ends up really satisfying me and has made me like other junk food less. I take VERY small bites and savor the melting in my mouth. But it does not have a lot of calories or sugar and works for me.
  • For me personally, I've noticed a huge difference if I eat sugar alone versus sugar with protein/fats/fiber. I try to make sure any sweets are eaten immediately after a meal rather than on their own.
  • I can't just break one square off either, but the individually wrapped squares work for me. I take one out, and eat it as slow as possible with the tiniest little bites letting it melt in my mouth. My nightly treat and very low in calories and sugar. Definitely works for me.
  • I have both and have been on BC for years and I just started taking synthroid over the summer. I didn't notice any issues or connection to the birth control or synthroid. I will say I've been on BC for 12 years continuously and I've had ones that have worked well for me and ones I felt terrible on. It's a personal thing…
