Has anybody here tried low carbs? If so, pros and cons? How long did you stick to it? How did you set the carb limits?

I've consistently been about 25-30 lbs overweight for the last several years. So here I am, hoping to shed that weight (4 lbs in November would be great)! I would like to reduce added sugar and carbs, and also try out some Paleo recipes from time to time. If you have a favorite, please share!
