It's ok to feel frustrated. Trust me, I've been there before. You are doing the right things, just keep going. Exercise and eating healthy will be worth it. Sending positive thoughts your way !!

Celebration and having a good time are one thing but reprogramming myself to not use alcohol to deal with negative emotions is what I am focusing on now. I joined the February challenge and am in for March!!! This community has made such an impact. Since February challenge, I have lost 7 pounds, feel great and am at peace with myself. Like some of you, I seek to be alcohol free, at this point, I cannot moderate. I think in time this will change, but for now am striving to be…

Thank you! Headspace App I've used it a few times in the last couple of weeks. Sometimes you just have to take a few breaths to gain focus again.

Day23 AF. Last night was my toughest challenge since starting this process. But Instead of having a drink, I meditated for about 5 minutes to refocus. It made a huge difference. I was able to abstain and continue AF.

Second weekend AF. This includes going to a pub and not drinking xs 2. I stuck to seltzer water and lime while family having beer etc. It has been challenging but still AF as of tonight. I feel like I'm gaining back control of my life. Feels good. This thread is extremely helpful and encouraging to keep going.

Day 10 AF ! So excited that I made it this far, will keep going. Still sticking to seltzer water with fruit in the evenings or if I'm out at bar or restaurant.

I am glad to report that I have lost 3.3 pounds since tracking food intake especially carbs and sugar- 5 days. My daily goal is 45 grams carbs and 30 grams sugar. Trying my best to stay under. No alcohol is a part of this as well. I have discovered seltzer water with fresh lemon or orange. It is satisfying as if I'm having…
