You're fitbit knows your weight and height depending on if you set it up right. The bigger you are the more you burn so you might want to keep that in mind.

The only thing it affects is weight fluctuations at least for me. When I eat let's say right before bed,I can weigh 2 maybe 3 lbs more than the day before. It's weird but still lose actual weight in the long run.

I eat when I'm hungry, I try not to think about it much.

I also completed it.

I wear both a zip and a charge 2 and by the end of the day my steps are usually within a few hundred and calories burned are within 1 to 200 with the charge 2 being a the higher probably because of the hr. I feel that is plenty adequate enough to continue the life journey. Too many of us over think all this.

That seems to have done it. Thanks.

My fitbit charge 2 seems to do ok in keeping my eating in line with mfp synced. Lost 90 lbs and I eat whatever it says I can most of the time. Mfp set at sedentary and the charge does the rest, keep it simple.

How long did your abdomen stay puffy? My stomach still feels and looks swollen 2 weeks in. Possibly the inside of abdomen?

Well I'm 2 weeks in and did my first 2 mile semi power walk today and it felt good but I actually got a little winded. Is this normal for just 2 weeks on being less active? I would never get winded on 2 miles. Anyway I seem to be recovering good. I have my post op appointment in 2 days. Can't wait to get back into a little…

I keep mfp at sedentary, wear my fitbit and don't log anything. I just eat back whatever I earn for the day. Sometimes I eat all sometimes only half depending on how I feel. This was is very easy and has always worked for me.
-
For myself I just keep mfp set as sedentary and let fitbit do it's thing as far as measuring my activity level since it always changes a little but no where near sedentary. I then eat most of my adjustment. I tried not to eat any adjustments in the beginning but was miserable. We always burn calories and the more we move…

I personally just quit cold turkey, haven't had a sip in over a year. If it's that huge of a part of your daily calories then hold yourself accountable and cut back so you can fit it in your daily life. Honestly after some time you won't miss it.
