First time posting a NSV! I started tracking food again and building up active time back in January. I measured myself in March (kicking myself for not doing when I was starting, but I was not in the headspace to compete with myself then). 2 months later and this morning I measured 4.6in less all over!! My weight isn't…

Not that challenge specifically, but it is a time investment to do any her programs. The warm ups really help, but I think her cool downs could be more thorough. I find I'm not nearly as sore when I do deep stretching after workouts. Sydney Cummings has a band assisted stretch video that I usually do after instead since…

I do this too! Especially on days that I'm having trouble pinpointing exactly what's wrong. I'll add a note of whatever I'm feeling and things that aren't going well in my life outside of the food and weightloss. It might take a day or two, but then I can identify what the trend is and handle the issue (usually)!

Feel free to add me! I'm always down to cheer people on :)

1) I'm not a morning person, so I've never been successful trying to workout before noon. Right now, I usually workout 1500-1700 before making dinner or 2100-2200 before my shower and bedtime of 2300. I've got to work around virtual school and bedtime for my 5yo, so anything from 0700-1500 & 1700-2030 is basically off…

@jocelynejauregui5057 Everyone always preaches about bananas, but the flavor fatigue is real! Lol So far the best I have found is adding steamed or roasted broccoli to our side choices, with a sprinkle of cheese after plating for the picky ones. I tried spinach for a while too (I like, they don't), but most recipes for it…

Yes! Socks, slippers, and indoor footwear in general make SUCH a huge difference! I grew up in a house with tile floors throughout and my feet/body were always freezing. I'd beg my parents to turn on the heat and they'd tell me to "go put on your house shoes." Teenaged me thought slippers were for old people though, so I'd…

I live in the southeastern US (TN). 100% humidity most of the year and hot-hot-hot from April through October. We usually wait until nighttime lows hit 30F to turn on the heat, and we set it between 65F-69F depending on those aforementioned psychological factors. Warmer end when it's raining or sleeting (typically late…

You've got this! Every little bit helps! <3

Hey there! I've been surfing almost every corner of YouTube during quarantine, but seeing Chloe Ting's channel motivated me to try losing weight again. (I think I'm coming out of a depression, so that helps too.) I went as far back as I could on her website to the 2018 Summer Shredding Challenge, but then I noticed she…

Awesome job! Take those photos to log your progress too! They can be a lifesaver if you have a bad day and question if it's worth it.

I can't wait to get started! This is exactly what my nerd heart needs 🥰

I'm not sure if food addict is 100% for me, but I definitely experience more than just emotional binging. Even days when I feel fine I end up hiding from my family in the kitchen to sneak some sweets or chips, or I stay up until 3am munching while I watch the tv and everyone else sleeps. I do my best to log everything…

I can definitely relate to the struggle! My anxiety and depression go hand in hand with comfort eating, and that's basically been sabotaging my efforts to change my lifestyle. Even my upcoming wedding hasn't helped get me out of the funk - if anything it makes it worse. :( Everyone can feel free to add me if you like. I…

Occasionally, if MFP is working on the servers or I'm not connected to internet.

I have a LetsCom, which isn't MFP compatible, but it is for Google Fit. I was using GF to track my steps anyway. I'm not supposed to carry my phone at work, so the watch has helped a lot and seems more accurate.

Fellow newbie here! I joined Planet Fitness the last week of December. I've been going during non-peak hours, which is awesome when your schedule allows. Even showing up is more than most people do, so give yourself some much due credit!! We got this! 💖

You can do this! Smart, small goals are a great way to reach your ultimate goal. Late night munches are difficult to overcome in my experience. Have you tried any healthy swaps for chips or portion control techniques?

Strong support systems are a must, virtual and irl. Feel free to add me! 😊

👋 Hey there! I find the community super supportive! Feel free to add me if you like. Most people I know are on their feeds more than the forum.
-
Not necessarily. Everyone has different needs and journeys. No need to be nasty about it.

I'm in the same boat. Oral fixation is hard to overcome. Crunchy things like baby carrots really help me. For non-calorie fixes, sometimes I'll put a toothpick in my mouth for a few minutes and then toss it. Something about it tricks my brain occasionally.

Awesome progress!!

I'm a few hours away in Memphis. I have family up there!

I've recently recovered from surgery as well. It can be difficult to start again, but you got this! Slow and steady. 😊
-
I find smaller goals easier to reach personally. You can do it!
-
Hospital visits are the worst! Hope you're both feeling better. Once the doctor cleared me to work out again, I started back at square one by walking.

Thank you!! 💖

Same here! Let's help each other reach out goals! 💖

I'm going through a similar struggle. What are your goals?
