Only depression. Nothing else

I started the program at 275lbs (BMI 47) and got down to 190lbs (BMI 33) - I was afraid I would be kicked out of the program, but my surgeon told me I was already accepted, so there was no going back. Surgery day came and I had gained a bit back and was sitting at 200lbs even (BMI still under 35). I was sleeved 2 weeks ago…

This happened to me the other day. Was cleaning out my car and found a box of oreo cookies that hubby and the kids were obviously stuffing their faces with and I wanted one so bad. I love oreos! I tried to stay away but eventually caved and stuck one in my mouth... it was soft and stale! I spit it out and thought, thank…

Wonderful job!!! such a great story.

No. I find I am ok with the 1400/day.

I had a 4lb regain (water and bloat) but have since gotten rid of it. I am still relatively "low carb" but nowhere near the 20g allowed on keto. I have been feeling pretty good :)

I haven't really tried anything for skin yet. I have had 3 babies so my stomach is pretty stretched out but as I loose, I find the "apron" in the front tummy is shrinking so I don't think I will have too many issues. its my upper thighs and arms that I think are going to be my issue. Have you tried anything?

I average 8 hours a night so I do not think it is sleep related. I think you are right in saying they are just bad habits - therefor trying to switch them with good habits/hobbies. I do not want to get in the routine of just going to bed because I feel like eating.

awesome! I also would have replied to him... just to give him a little hope and then crush it Mwahahaha! Great job girl!

I do not believe I am hungry when I do this. I feel like I am unsatisfied with what I did eat during the day and so I overfill myself with my favorites (cereal, bagels, chips, etc) I feel like even though I have a great dinner, something I really enjoy - a few hours later I am unsatisfied again and everything goes to hell.

if I go to bed right after the kids, I feel like I have literally no time to myself and then I am even more miserable. I need at least 1.5 hours to myself after kids are sleeping lol

I would also like to join :) I will weigh in on Fridays. First weigh in - July 14/17 Last weigh in - Sept 29/17 Goal = 25lbs (from 195 - 170)

I am looking to loose about 45lbs (more than I have already). it is getting MUCH HARDER the closer I get to goal. I need some serious accountability and motivation.

I have lost 85.5 pounds so far (49 left to go) and I haven't had any issues with extra skin, except for my mommy tummy (apron I think some people call it?) but I have had 3 babies and I believe that is what it is from, I have had it since my second birth and it looks about the same "droopiness" as it did then - just…

the calculators I use say my normal calorie intake is 1961. I am averaging 1400/day my weight loss goes in waves, I can lose about 3lbs/week and then stall for 2-3 weeks, then lose 3lbs/week for a little bit.

thanks for all the replies. I am eating about a 25% calorie deficit right now, I could change it to 20% and see how it goes (increase about 200 cal I think ). I am in bed for approx. 7.5 hours at night, but between my 2 kids, I am usually up once or twice, but only for about 15 min total - but I am sure the break in my…

I was doing a 18:6 but fell off the wagon (hard) so I am working my way back up. I would ultimately love to get to a regular 20:4 with a 48 hour fast every 2 weeks or so.

just past 1 year. down 84lbs and have about 60lbs left. slow going now, but I am still moving along. Lots of hiccups, but much further (and happier) than a year ago.

I can't stand when people post success stories where their "before" picture/weight was at 9 months pregnant... most people lose a lot of weight quickly after having a baby. Yes, some of the weight is hard to loose (I have had 3 babies) but to have your starting picture as you, 9 months pregnant bugs me. If 6 months post…

haha, yes, I guess you are right! Thank you :)

Thank you for the only helpful answer. Yes I guess "calorie counting" is what I was getting at? although I assumed they were the same. So if I allow myself 1200 calories a day, it doesn't matter how I get those calories, as long as I don't go over?
-
yes, my original post say using ONLY CICO. So, not clean eating, working out daily, etc... strictly CICO.

what is the point of eating keto if you can't live off bacon and heavy whipping cream??? aw, this makes me sad :( I am keto now, and was hoping to carry it on after surgery, but that No No No list is pretty much my entire daily meal plan.

bariatric clinic in Red Deer. I was hoping for an early summer date, but my surgeon announced he is taking the summer off - so all surgeries will start again in the fall, and there is already a long list in front of me :( I am still so frustrated. I am going to try and enjoy the summer, but at the same time - I am going to…

Hello, I am 30 and need to lose another 60lbs to get to goal. I was doing so well, lost all motivation, started making mistakes, and I have stalled for several weeks now. Need to jump back in it!!!

at my appointment yesterday, I was told to try and maintain my weight. I started the program at 275 and am at 191 now. I am worried about regaining while waiting for my surgery. I don't really have a choice... just need to continue on. They don't want me regaining, but they don't want me focusing on losing anymore either.…

Thank you all for your comments! I like to see that you are having success, either losing, or maintaining while still eating "real" meals. I am eating a LCHF (about 50g carb from veg/fruit/flax/dairy) right now and am happy to be able to continue that after surgery.
