I pre log to help myself control my calories and adjust where I need to and also experiment to see where I can adjust foods to hit my macros. I did two days recently of over my days way too much when usually my protien is very high, fats are low and carbs are moderate. It's trial and error. Make sure your not too strict on…

Your inspiring! I am at my heaviest but I am also at the most serious point of my life. At my best I was a lean 165 and that is actually kinda skinny on me. I'm now 222. Been actively dieting since Dec 26th. Started going back to the gym last week. Doing body pump and cardio and fixing to see a trainer. Gonna take my life…

Thanks for all the info everyone!. I'll focus on my weight loss. Eat back 25- 50% of my exercise calories and just try to eat a bit more in general. If I am going to do this I want to do it right and do it healthy. My trainer is certified in nutrition. I just couldn't officially hire him until Saturday. That's why I'm…

So do you think I should change some my of my calories up from protein to carbs?

My calorie intake ranges between 1200 to 1400 daily. I have a food scale where I weigh my meats and veggies and I have a measuring cup when I have to measure in cups. I do vary from about 80 to 130 grams of protein.

Ok so now I'm curious. I have a good scale where I weigh my meat and sometimes my veggies when I can measure in oz. However I have to measure in cups sometimes. I have a glass measuring cup that holds up to 2 cups. Is there any discrepancy in that glass measuring cup versus the hand held measuring cups?
