  • This is likely due to allergies to pollen. I get the same thing sometimes from fresh fruit. Washing the fruit quite thoroughly can often help.

  • One week is not a sufficient time, most likely. And by "measure" you mean "weigh". Cups, Tbps, Tsp, etc. can be quite variable in actual grams contained. I am hypothyroid - when I weigh and track my consumption I lose weight just like I would expect.
  • I found out the other day that my jeans weighed almost exactly 2 pounds..... suddenly made sense why I always seemed to gain weight on a Monday, slowly lose over the week, and suddenly drop 2 pounds on Saturday. Doh!
  • Ok. That matches what I am seeing in behavior. But really? At 243 lbs 5' 7" and "obese" I can't safely lose 2 lbs a week? My doctor and dietician tell me I should be targeting 2 lbs a week. Guess I will have to use MFP for tracking and use a modified goal.

  • Angela - Nope. The only change in the two hour period was eating 1oz of raw almonds. No other output or input.
