Had a measurement session with my PT, and it would seem my quads and glutes have grown, but my bf% has come down,…

Frustrating couple of weeks- Eating pretty much on track which saw a low of 69.7kg.. but now what I am hoping is TOM has seen me jump up to 71kg, back down to 70.4 and now back up to 70.7.. aghh!! I forget how annoying hormonal fluctuations are.. and how long they last :(

Okay- so one week down, new job has me eating a lot less as the new office dont seem to buy daily biscuits and cake, thank god! It means I have been able to just eat what I have prepped without being tempted into eating other things. However, the trade off is a lot less walking around, perhaps I will have to offset this…

I competed at the Rainhill Trials, which is a relatively large crossfit competition in the UK.. went into the competition in 40th place through seeding workouts and managed to gain 11 places to finish 29th, so very happy for my first…

I have a BMI of 27 at 5"3 and 70kg.. I know that I could stand to lose a few lbs, but I don't always look like it as I have a narrow waist and seem to carry most of my weight in my lower body.

Good Luck!!! :)

As someone who consistently struggles with self esteem and comparing myself to others, I totally get that this is an issue. But at what point do you have to say that you are to some extent responsible for your own self esteem? Theres an article floating around here about someone who feels that people posting progress…

It was one of these challenges that finally spurred me on to lose the 4stone that I had gained.. I understand that they aren't all that, but if they motivate even one person to make the changes then surely that's a good thing?

No point in looking the part if your performance cant keep up right?! :D
-
Oh totally! I stopped worrying about them when I realised I had baby abs and still classed as overweight :D I am gaining a little atm, just cause I am competing quite regularly, so don't want low calories to trash my performance in the gym, if I hit 70kg again I will consider a cut!
-
And apparently according to BMI I am 7lbs overweight.. so I ignore everything bar how my body performs in the gym!
