  • The newsfeed was the only reason I chose MFP over LoseIt. This community feature is really frustrating to use. Find me - Railgrl - over at LoseIt.
  • Love the idea of soup for breakfast. Lately I’ve been having a meal replacement shake. Soup sounds so much better
  • Great responses. Couldn’t agree more.
  • Depends on what I’m making but bone-in skin-on breasts are a great staple. Can be used shredded in soups, sandwiches, burritos, salads. I discard the skin after cooking but it helps keep the meat from drying out. Toss them in a 350 degree oven and check them after 30 or 35 minutes. If they’re not 160F then put them back in…
  • Hi! 51 years old living in Halifax Nova Scotia. Just getting back to MFP. It worked for me before so I’m hoping it will inspire me again. Can someone please explain how to easily send a friend request? I have to go through two profiles for each person I add, amd when I hit back it kicks me out of the community all…
  • Consider researching the menu before you get there. I’ve been surprised - after ordering what I thought was the best choice - at how high calories and fat can be in salads, fish dishes, soups etc. (Seemingly healthy meals.) One of the lowest calorie options at a popular restaurant in my neighbourhood is actually the streak…
  • Its not for me. I enjoy shopping for and preparing my meals. The price seems high as well. I can see lots of reasons people would try it, though. The most difficult part of meals for me is deciding what to to have. It is nice to have someone else set the menu every now and then. There are lots of comments above that make…
  • Homemade soup. I stash it in the freezer at work and enjoy with revita snack bread. If I have some extra calories to splurge I add cream cheese to the bread. I like to have a variety so I pretty much make soup every weekend. Heavy on the vegetables and flavour, as low on the calories as possible. White chicken chilli,…
  • https://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/just_Tomek Thanks for the amazing list of recipes! I don’t think I’ll do the jello but everything else looks great. 👍
  • Congrats! 190-200 is my comfort zone but I gained 20 lb in 2029! Hoping to get back to my zone and find ways to maintain it.
  • Hi! I’m a 47 year old woman in Vancouver BC. I don’t have the same goals or path as many MFP members. Im not looking to sculpt my bod or drop loads of pounds in the short term. My goal is to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle in a sustainable manner despite a busy career and family life. I would love to have some…

  • I have been a we member in the past but I didn't like the changes they kept making to the program. They seemed to be too hung up on the trends of the day. Their las t low carb craze left me starving. When I had toast and peanut butter and it took up 1/2 my daily points I quit in disgust.
  • I'm the opposite of Yvette. I find morning food is important to save me from gorging on carbs mid-day. The usual recommendations seem to work for me. Protein makes me feel satisfied. Overnight oatmeal is a great breakfast. Unfortunately I'm allergic to eggs because they'd make a perfect meal! Apples with peanut butter or…
  • Hi guys! I am looking for some friends too. If you see a friend request from me please accept.
  • Don't get overwhelmed! Consider starting smaller and trying for 5 or 10lb first. Track everything and get a bit of light exercise in. When you start to see the scale creep down you will feel motivated to keep it up. :) Find some foods you like that are lower calorie but fill you up. I'm into chicken chilli, overnight oats,…
  • You've lost 56 pounds! That must feel great! Maybe take your focus off the scale for a few weeks and see what happens.
