  • I measured chest, waist, hips. Surprisingly I haven't lost even an inch in any of those despite a 26 lbs. loss so far. I do notice that my arms, calves, thighs and face look thinner. Should have taken more measurements

  • I have heard of the "fist" thing before, it refers to portions. I think it's something like a steak portion should be as big as your palm? Maybe a potato as big as a fist? It's used for guessing an accurate portion size when you don't have a scale

  • It does show why you need to weigh your food. Eyeballing and guessing what a portion looks like and how many calories to log just doesn't work
  • Just booked a cruise for November. A few of my sisters, brothers and other relations are going too! I want to look good in the pictures and not have to look around for someone to stand behind. (especially hard since I'm the shortest one in the group)
