-Ok. So you probably want to stay in the range of 1500 cals per day. -Do NOT count your steps and log them as exercise because that was already accounted for when you did your activity level. -Also log all of your food. Even if you go off the rails for a bit. true portions and calories
-
Well the 2000 cals per day is the bare minimum of calories he a healthy. Guy should eat. It actually is a full day caloric intake and is 200 more than the 1800 recommended for guys. I'm just saying that this is quicker if he's desperate to lose the lbs

Height and weight? Or should we guess?
-
By the way. You can have some good fast food choices. I know I find some good fast food choices most of the time. Sourdough Jack and a side salad from Jack in the box - yum
-
I think a healthy fast way to go for you would be about 2000 Cal's per day. With some lean meats to supplement your weight lifting. Haha I must admit though. Even though unhealthy 900 per day is some strong willpower
-
Well OP you're in the normal range. I would even suggest you go on .5 lbs per week and put it on cruise control. Since you hike you should be eating protein and some fats for energy. I'd go with 1600 cals per day and I'd eat back my workouts (conservatively) ofcourse
-
If I were you I'd try to consume about 1800 calories a day. Log everything. If you have problems logging items, go on the conservative side. Eat your calories back but stay on the conservative side when trying to guess how many calories you burned. I usually only eat oatmeal in the morning. If I'm very strict it's only 150…

I just found it funny because the relapse is on food. And I just think that food in general isn't bad for you, or dangerous, but the word can be appropriate in certain settings. What I do to stay on a healthy track is to remind myself that this is not a Sprint. It's a marathon and if I do somethings right and I don't see a…

LMAO @ relapse.

Don't want to give height and weight?
-
Do not use BMR. Because your metabolism can change. Day to day. What's your height weight and goal?
-
I'm guessing you don't want to give your weight for some reason
-
Ok. What I do when I go on vacation is log log log. I don't care how off the rails go. Bit I still log it. I just want to have mathematical proof. Also I get to see what foods have what calories for next time. So after I get back from vacation it's easier to log and be accountable

Drinking water with anything at all doesn't affect "real" weight gain. Who cares how long water weight lasts anyway
-
Naa it's not always bad. Bit the devil is always in the details, arnt they?
-
First of all congrats on losing over 50 lbs that's great. I usually use the Exercise selection in the MFP app and stay on the conservative side. I personally think you should probably be at 2000 Cal's with all the workouts that you do.
-
Yah. You're just 10 lbs off. So I think you're fine. Nutrition-wise you want to eat red meat for some energy. What worked for me mentally with depression is working out. I go balls to the wall, then I feel better mentally. I get into an almost meditative state when I run. I also do yoga and that is difficult but very…

1200 is really low. It seems a lot of people struggling on here are trying to go with the bare minimum. Then when they do that they develop things like "cheat days". If you are shorter go with .5 lbs a week. Definitely easier more natural and in my opinion more healthy
-
Those results sound absolutely normal. :| How tall are you?
-
I count the beer to my calories and it works fine for me. When I drink beers I do not look at macros. Anyway my personal stance on beer is that it is good for you. I personally think beer is a probiotic and I actually see some gains if I have 1-2 bottles a night
-
Oatmeal. Fills you up in the morning. I get the steel cut variety
-
I'd stick to the advice of the medical professional. They have access to all your vitals. We don't.
-
Some people never get the loose skin. It maybe a genetics thing it maybe a diet and workout thing.
-
First of all your just about 5-10 lbs off. Which is not a lot. You look like a strong girl. So buck up Also I would try to go with full on cardio. Run run run. How many calories a day?
-
LMAO. Dude. I said that this was the only thing I could think of. Then you said I didn't read the article. Now you're saying that this cannot happen till after loss of 150. Lol thanks a lot doc. As I said before, what is your suggestion to the OP? What suggestion do you have for someone eating less than 2000 Cal's per day…
-
Haha you call yourself fat but by the sound of it you are NO failure. Sounds like you know exactly what you have to do, a lot of people fall short of that. Blog, type paragraphs, yell and screem. Do what you gotta do

My advice is: Start right away. A lot of people put off, for next week or tomorrow or so fourth. Start watching your calories for your next meal and start right away. Every journey starts with a single step.
