By no means I want to undermine the respect of the deaths. But I am totally upset by politicians lack of perspective. They just panicked. Unlike JAPAN that handled it way better, IMO - no panic there. Don't they realize that severe influenza (not the common flu) KILLS 290 000 to 650 000 persons year after year? At the end…

If chronically means no more than -30%, in my experience, yes. As long you exercise with intensity, strenght-style. You'll have less muscles because you'll need less, with a smaller body frame. By no mean to the point of being weak, to the contrary. About all studies point to the fact that the subjects become more…

I am all about it. The name of the game is caloric restriction for life, with optimal nutrition. Eventually you stabilize, but on a much smaller body frame, and in bonus, superb blood pressure like 110/70, a low BPM of 55 at rest, not forgetting a low total cholesterol if you keep your proteins at 15-20%. Even when aging.…

Asians tend to consider the upper limit for BMI at 23, above is starting the overweight range. I also think that 25 is too high.

I stock the Pure Proteins when on special at Costco.

So over the top.... nobody talks that the situation is under control in China? Numbers of cases stabilized .... 3 weeks ago. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-51235105 Winter is phasing out. So much drama for so little, on a global perspective. *Great time to buy stock or funds.*

Sorry, no, you didn't get the point.

Didn't I just write; "for somebody average not muscular and regular constitution" ? I know exactly what BMI means.

Following a large metastudy of 2007 by AICR, meaning review of hundreds of studies recommendation #1 for cancer prevention; "be as lean as possible without being underweight." Still current in their documentation, although they added normal range later (see page 5), with no more explanation.…

Very good experience with my Withings Wireless. I was an early adopter but I don't recall if it was 6 or 8 years ago. It posts directly to my MFP and, as important, trendweight.com - I love that site. I also installed an AC adaptor instead of relying on batteries. There are probably cheaper options these days.

And he just did split with his 7 relatives & siblings. $8 750 000 each. Rare sight, really.
-
Terrible conclusion. I guess that you didn't read anything, Those major studies show that if you eat most of your calories early in the days, you will lose weight quicker no matter the root cause. I gather that your experience has nothing to do with that.

A 22yo kid working at the grocery just won $70 000 000 not taxable here...

32/33 who got it will survive. That global crisis is artificial.

Correct. I put links to seven of them here: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10782402/if-a-calorie-is-a-calorie-why-do-we-see-this/p1

I have a wahoo chest strap and it also over-estimates. I tried to play with my weight, but now I over-write the result in MFP.

"Optimal" is a fabrication that just doesn't exist on these sites either... If RDA/AI calories is 2600 for a normal individual , why aim higher? Because it is "optimal" ? Going over the RDA/AI calories has the risk of being fat, no studies needed. Going over the RDA/AI proteins has no significant risk until you pass…

0.36g/lbs is not for sedentary persons only - that is a fabrication, it is nowhere mentioned in the governmental sites, as this one;…

The average human weight in the world is 137lbs. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/earth/earthnews/9345086/The-worlds-fattest-countries-how-do-you-compare.html 0.36g/lbs computes indeed with 50g. Overweight & obesity for justification of more proteins is not right (at least, not suiting the agenda of that 'World Resource…

That's Harvard's version. I don't think that original RDA/DRI even says that. We eat way too much proteins for nothing, https://www.wri.org/resources/charts-graphs/people-eating-more-protein-wealthy-regions
-
RDA calls for 0.36g/lbs, although most of us eat much more. It is all you need unless you want to gain some muscles, https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/how-much-protein-do-you-need-every-day-201506188096 There actually are benefits for going low-protein. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/325197.php#general-benefits

Well it turns out that those who told you so might be *correct*, even if the reason might not be.

Cold turkey January done! I'll drink to that. o:)

I like your dad. Smart man. Listen to him.

THIRD is a charm. Another study going the same way, from Italy this time. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/262189768_Morning_Meal_More_Efficient_for_Fat_Loss_in_a_3-Month_Lifestyle_Intervention Welcome to circadian cycle. Here is number FOUR, from France this time. And a possible/reasonable explanation why a…

So glad I stepped up when my teens wanted a tatoo and forbade them. Ten years later, now in their adulthood, none has one. Good.
-
Not a fan of tatoos. I can't believe that people mutilate themselves PERMANENTLY. Not smart.
