I think you should tighten up your logging. Using a food scale for the first time shocked me at the size of an actual serving of pasta, for example. You might be eating more than you think you are without realizing it. Also remember that exercise is for health and fitness. You don't have to exercise every day to lose…

Hydroxycut had to take out all the effective ingredients years back, and now they're just super caffeine pills with other unproven herbal stuff. If you need a boost of energy with a bit of appetite suppressant, try some coffee/tea instead. Others have said all that needs to be said about alli. :open_mouth:

When I stepped on a scale and realized I was 5 lbs away from being morbidly obese.

I would definitely contact them before starting and take their advice. They want you to be healthy too. <3

If you are considering losing weight again, make sure to talk to your treatment team to make sure you do it healthily. Eating disorders are terrifying, and we would all hate for you to succumb to that beast again.

Alcohol, because I make a fool of myself when drunk. Junk food gets limited because I have to check if it fits my calories for that day, whereas before I started losing weight I would have just eaten that cookie with no second thought.

Every morning, after I use the bathroom and before breakfast. I like seeing the trends. Seeing the fluctuations before that time of the month, or after a big restaurant meal are interesting. I know that my weight is trending down, so I try to not let a high day here and there spook me.

I follow a plant based diet for ethical reasons. Whole foods are great, but sometimes I just want some junk food. Tracking calories with mfp lets me fit in treats that I enjoy that aren't entirely healthy for me. I don't think I could sustainably lose weight without being able to have ice cream sometimes.

Still 73lbs away from my ultimate goal of 125, but my highest weight was 230lbs. I have lost 32lbs so far, so I'm proud of that. Right now I have a mini goal of being 174lbs. At that weight, I will no longer be classified as obese!

I didn't know it needed to be calibrated. When I bought mine I put a nickel on it to test it. It weighed 5 grams, as a nickel should.

I prefer before. It is hard for me to exercise soon after eating. Honestly, it doesn't matter much as long as you get yourself moving. :)

I drink a pot of coffee a day. It was a good change to go from an unmeasured amount of creamer and sugar per mug, to a tablespoon of creamer (30 cal) and a teaspoon of sugar (15 cal), to a packet of sweetener (4 cal) and a tablespoon of sugar free creamer (15 cal). That makes my whole pot of coffee under 100 calories when…

You can develop allergies at any time. My mom developed a latex allergy in her 30's.

I'm not vegetarian, but I believe there is a group called "happy herbivores" where they swap recipes and talk about veg* stuff!

If I don't have a toddler, where do I get one? Do I go to the park and pick one out? :p

Did you read the post? She says she feels dizzy after eating anything. This is not normal and she should see a doctor.

Excuse me, they prefer to be called African American calories, thank you. ;P

If it fits in your calorie goals, sure. My favorite thing to get there is a mcchicken with no mayo. It has a reasonable amount of calories and it's only a dollar.

If I am hungry (or it is a day where I want a treat) I eat back half of my exercise calories. If I'm not, I don't.
