From 205 to 165 in the pics. Goal weight is 155ish

For reference, I'm 5'6. First pic is from 11/29/2016, the second is about three months later. The last picture is from 04/15/2017, same outfit. Note the length of the drawstring on the pants in each picture. That was what shocked me the most by comparison. In total, this is a 40lb weight loss. I've lost 42 total

Thanks! In 4.5 months, I'd lost 42lbs. I'm 8lbs away from my maintenance size

Holy abs! Wow, good for you! I want to be like you when I grow up

Figured I'd throw my picture in too for context

For whatever reason, my belly seems to be my problem area. It has definitely and obviously shrunk, but the toning is taking some time. I'm pretty happy with my arms and legs, but that damn belly, though...

Yes, I'm still trying. My goal weight is 155, almost there! Ironically, my goal was originally 145, haha. But my body is happier in the 150s

Omg that's so excited! My heart fluttered a bit just seeing your picture, haha. Wow, congrats

Thanks. I hadn't particularly thought about what would specifically take the place of the shakes, so that is good insight and something for me to consider. I have been wanting to eat more fruit, as I've been avoiding many fruits (other than berries and on occasion apples) in large part due to the amount of sugar, so I…

Thank you, this is great advice. When I started to drink the whey, it was because I was losing more lean muscle during weight loss than I would've liked. So as of now, I drink them more out of necessity than desire. It's a very intentional practice for me and would not do it otherwise. So I definitely feel like I want to…

I feel like I've gone through a similar journey that you have. I am also 5'6 and went from 205 to 165 between December and April. I did change my diet pretty drastically, though, but otherwise it's cool to see someone who has had a similar transformation as I have
-
I'm so glad to hear that. Thank you, and good luck on your journey

Thanks

Thank you!

Thank you very much

No, I believe that is correct. If 1% of your body weight is more than 2lbs it's still ok for the most part, though there are always other contributing factors
-
Congrats! What a great feeling

I created a vision board, which helped a lot. It was fun and cathartic to make and helped me to remain motivated

I'm 5'6 and was about 205 before and I'm 163 now. I'm not sure how many inches I've lost because I only started tracking my measurements about 4 weeks ago
-
So that's almost my exact size. I'm 5'6 and 163 currently, was over 200 in the before pictures. My goal is the get somewhere around 155. So I'm now where you are. I got here by working out 6 days a week and eating a diet super high in protein. I've made some adjustments throughout, but what seems to work best is strength…

Exactly! You've summed this up so perfectly, that's exactly where I am right now. I have about 10 more pounds to go and it's mostly toning, so I figured this would help me through the home stretch. When I still have 20-30 pounds to go, I wasn't even about to buy new clothes, haha. Anyway, thank you so much for the support
-
Thanks. I'm not quite in maintenance yet, but I'm much closer than I was in November (obviously, haha). I'm making progress
-
Yay! Wow, that's super exciting, what a milestone. Congrats. Now it's just the home stretch...
