Thanks!

Many of the Atkins bars don't have that whey flavor. Also, pure protein has a caramel, peanut, chocolate bar that's delicious

I don't have great pictures of the difference in muscle tone, but here's a 4 month difference in my legs from strength training and cardio

Do you have before and after pics?

So I'm 5'6 and currently 163. Started at 205 back in November/December
-
Just scroll up. I've explained it in bits and pieces throughout this thread

Thanks so much! I do three days a week of HIIT and hills on the bike and three days a week of strength training and steady state cardio.

Aww thanks, haha

Haha, well everyone is different, so it will work or it won't. But I can certainly attribute my success to being mentally focused on reaching my goal and pushing through when tired or worn out, so I think that piece can be attributable to everyone. On my HIIT days I also do hills on the stationary bike. I walk for 5…

Thank you! I've been working hard

Omg, I typed a whole thing then it didnt post! idk what happened :( Anyway, I started out in December running on the treadmill at about 5.3mph and walking at 4mph for my intervals. I did them for a minute and a half a piece for 30 minutes, and this killed me. But once it started getting easier, I bumped the run speed up to…

This was super helpful, thank you so much! Great tips. I'm lucky that I'm not a drinker, so staying away from the alcohol won't be difficult. I've also unintentionally limited my meal choices to a few per meal while in the weight loss phase, so I guess I'll maintain that in maintenance. Great tip on the big meals, the…

I actually lost 10 pounds over the course of two weeks, which isn't necessarily normal or ideal, but it happened. I lost 7 one week and 3 the next. I also had a pretty high starting weight, as you can gauge from my profile picture

Here is a close up before and after of my face alone as well

Thank you! I explained in more detail in some earlier posts, but I eat a high protein diet and do 3 days a week of strength training and 3 days a week of high intensity cardio.

So it depends, but I usually try to do opposite muscle groups. So I'll do biceps and triceps together, for example. I'll use the cables to do tricep push downs but I also use dumbbells abs do tricep extensions. I'll do back and cheat on the same day. For back I do wide grip lat pull downs, underhand lat pull downs, and…

Thank you! Gotta keep pushing

Ya, that's a toughie. You can try to fit in some extra steps where you can. Do you have a pet? If so, take an extra long walk. When you go to the store, park far away from the entrance and do a lap or two while you're in there. If you live in a two story home, go up and down the stairs a few extra times a day. That kinda…

Thanks so much Kelsey! I went into more detail in a previous reply, but my diet consists of mostly protein and I do 3 days of lifting and 3 days of cardio a week

Thank you!

Thank you! I am very proud of my progress and its continued to motivate me to keep going! My daily calorie goal is set at 1400 by myfitnesspal and I eat mostly protein. My percentages are set at 40% protein 30% fat and 30% carbs but I actually usually get closer to 50% protein since I added whey powder to my diet. I prep…
