Thank you all for your input. I do get most of my protein from food but I work out late in the evenings and sometimes I just want something quick instead of cooking anything; or if I can't get in one of my meals during the day I'll have a shake.

I've only been lifting for almost 2 months and I'm at 125lbs- 3 sets of 10. Not stopping there though- only getting stronger.

I'm currently using dymatize100 ( gourmet chocolate ;) ) and like it so far. I need something for energy though. I haven't tried the bcaa's yet but plan on it. .. Thank you

Just change the way you think about food. Make smarter choices such as if you want a hamburger and ffs, make it a turkey burger and sweet potato fries.
