Nandos chicken, 600cals really? It's a piece of chicken man.

Sunflower seeds or half a protein bar, normally Grenade carb killa.

My jumper that I've wore since November to cover me just hangs off my shoulders now. Three jackets in my wardrobe I haven't had on fit me and I can sit down in them :D My belt now has to go halfway round my waist to be tight enough.

1.What was the turning point for you? A- Couldn't even tie my shoes without gasping for breath, I honestly didn't believe I was so overweight that that would happen, and then buying an XXL jacket when I'm 5ft 9 was a killer. Squeezing through a turnstile at a football match was the real turning point for me, because I knew…

I graduate at the end of June from University and then I go to Orlando, Florida 8 weeks later

What shocked me was the calories in a tiny processed double cheeseburger from McDonalds- 400!! Also the chicken legend has nearly 600 calories in it. It is basically chicken and bread what the hell do they do to it :/

If you're close to a average weight for your height then it'll be a little harder to lose, than if you were obese. I'm really obese and I only lost 3lb my first week, I expected an insane loss like 8-10lb like a lot of obese people who lose water weight in their first week. Just keep going if you're being honest with…

People who create foods and when you click on it, there is no fat, carbs, or protein in it :s

I thought that too, and technically it would work eventually. I realised it's everything in moderation. If you realise you snack at night, have a 200-400 cal breakfast, 400 cal lunch and 600 cal dinner, leaving 600-800 for snacks at night. Trust me just keep going, it works eventually. For two weeks straight I stayed the…

That is a crazy transformation! Wow. Just a couple of quick questions, I obviously understand if you wouldn't like to answer them. I have to lose around another 60lbs to be a 'normal' weight for my height. I'd be quite happy to lose another 50lbs tbh and then see if anymore needs to come off, so, what height are you and…

I think I need to move to America

Milk!!! Also I was shocked at only 70 cals in a KFC hot wing :D

I find there is a very thin line between eating what you want and what is good. In a weird sense the term 'diet' is ingrained psychologically so you automatically think ok eggs/oats/ brown toast for breakfast, salads, small sandwiches for lunch, a dinner with protein, little carbs and veg. Because of this mindset in most…

33 pounds in 11 weeks for me and for all the Scots out there I have a caramel wafer everday :D
-
Alcohol is a weird one. One weekend I had a night out and drank a half bottle of vodka with lemonade, 3 stella artois and 3 lagers. I weighed myself the next morning to see the affect and I had lost 5lb. As soon as I started eating again the 5lb went back on!

Did you recently start the exercise? Also, have you been tracking sodium? I agree with waiting it out. A true stall is 6 weeks.[/quote] Does MFP not track that? I probably go over it 2 days out of the 7
-
Well yeah. Just due to the nature of my size. For being still morbidly obese I should be losing it still. I shouldn't be stalling, not at this stage.

I'm male and I haven't changed anything. I read this forum like its gospel and I wouldn't have posted had I came across a reason people give to others. I normally do 20 mins treadmill 40 mins weights twice a week and 60 mins boxercise class. That's why I just can't find the answer. I haven't binged, logged and weighed…

I usually go over the Protein recommendation about 4 days a week. I didn't think it was an issue tbh.
-
Don't go shopping hungry.

I have 3 assignments due this week and next and I've been in a routine now for 9 weeks. My best tips are... Take 2hrs on Sunday to prep all your breakfasts and dinners (boiled eggs, cereal bars, chicken pasta, tuna salad, thin bagels). Log everything your going to eat for breakfast and lunch on sunday, like barcode…

That eating in moderation and eating less but still feeling full= weight loss! Who knew it could be literally as simple as that. Also I learned that I am quite a good cook if I do say so myself! That it takes 1.5 hours maximum to prep lunches for a whole week! Still a bit to go but I feel better.

I only workout 3 times a week. Two day weights and one day boxing with pads and bag. I never eat back my calories burned as I find they can be overestimated. I doubt I burn 500 cals doing one hour of boxing with the bag. If I ever do eat the calories back I eat half of what MFP says I burned unless I'm on the treadmill and…

For your weight it's probably gona be tougher to lose it in such a short space of time. For someone like me I started at 280 lbs and lost 30 in 8 weeks so far, it'll inevitably slow down once I get down to about 215-225. Just lose it at a safe and healthy rate and it's more than likely to stay off!
-
It's strange the last time I had a drink (half bottle of apple vodka and 5 stella artois) I had actually lost 5lbs overnight. Those 5 went back on 2 days later once I started eating again but my advice would be to not overdo it on a night out and the next morning get some bacon and eggs going. The salt from the bacon…
-
Not for me. I usually have breakfast around 8.30am and on Tues and Wed have dinner after 10pm. I haven't noticed a difference and have been pretty consistent with my weight loss so far.
-
I need to lose 56 pounds! Lost 20 lbs in 8 weeks so still a bit to go. I live just outside of Glasgow.
-
I just turned 23 and have to lose another 60 pounds! Still not the ideal weight but it'll be good enough for me!
-
Surprised at how low cal bacon is. Also how many cals are in wholewheat pasta!! 250 cal for 75g serving???

I wouldn't be having a cheat meal. A calorie deficit diet more or less allows you to eat foods you enjoy. If you crave a mcdonalds, or chinese, go get it, log it and if your under your calories great, if not take it off the next few days and it works out
