Woah. You must increase your fat intake. 25 g is wayyyy too low. Your brain will thank you and your natural hormone regulation will improve. Stick to monounsaturated and saturated fats only.
-
This but make sure they are the right fats, being saturated and monounsaturated. Not processed polyunsaturated.
-
If that is the case, all science basically proving the connection to diet and disease is offensive? This has passed into the realm of illogical. I'm done.

One sentence implied all of that?

That's exactly what I've said this entire time...

Ok. Then 10-15%....

She asked how we went about it.

To loose a lb a week without exercise she has to hit 870 cal intake. What if she wants to hit 5% body fat? If she runs... she should eat back her calories. It all depends, but just guessing what calories to eat isn't going to help you. It's math. My point in using those caloric intakes was to disprove your notion that sub…

Curious, why does eating whole foods make someone holier than thou? How is giving suggestions berating someone? Why is a milkshake considered nutritious?
-
Lol, what?
-
Lol...
-
Because those are the illnesses that occur due to eating bad foods. How is it not relevant?

Where did I say she should eat at her bmr? She should calculate her needs based off age, weight, height, and activity level. Stop trolling. Her bmr at age 26 is 1147 is btw.

Use the information to decipher caloric need. Yes you can get adequate nurishment. 40 g fat 360 cals 100 protein 400 cals. That's 760 cals. 240-400 cals from veggies will provide plenty of fiber, vitamins and minerals, while helping keep a defecit and maintain muscle. Her caloric needs are unique to her and her only based…

Going low carb without eating meat. Lol. Eggs and dairy are your only option. Helpful tip, slow cook the eggs in a crock pot to avoid sulphur deposit reactions between the yolk and egg white. It will prevent any bloat or gas.

Skinny people still can get cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, just saying...

Man you've asked a tough question. My best advice would be lose the oils and SUGAR so that the calories are somewhat negligable.
-
There is a caloric component, especially some of these corn syrup laden marinades on the market.
-
I make my own, void of oil. Apple cider vinegar, peppercorn, spices, and veggies (garlic/onion/pepper). I'd avoid processed marinades.

All I've suggested you to feed him is whole, unprocessed food. You calling it unappetizing is alarming. Blending slow cooked meat and veggies would be a puree like baby food but it would be 1000x more nutritious and would AID his recovery. If he doesn't like avocado add almond or peanut butter as they are another source of…

I'm curious as to why a doctor would advise against eating any protein whatsoever, and I would be concerned of said doctors credentials with regard to nutrition in general. Care to elaborate on the surgery?
-
Slow cook him meat and veggies in a crock pot. Put in blender. Feed with spoon.
-
Easy fix. Stop binging.
-
None, as denatured proteins that are not regulated by the fda can not be trusted. Eat whole food and stop being brainwashed my marketing.
-
Don't make him milkshakes. Are you serious? Try blending avocado with some protein powder and some spinach and coconut water. Add ice as needed.
-
Eat more protein and more fiber. Cut carbs as the insulin response causes subsequent hunger. To be clear, by carbs I mean pasta, rice, bread, and sugar and by fiber I mean whole food veggies.
-
This. Offset it by 20%.
