I can't wear jeans, I'm too big for my pairs of jeans and I refuse to buy larger ones When I run my fat sloshes around my chest I have never felt attractive but I feel more unattractive at this weight I dislike the constant thinking of weight loss, it's mentally draining I have breasts and I'm not meant to

Some people find weighing daily messes with their head, I never had that last time I got to goal weight but after I started maintaining I noticed that I was burnt out by the constant routine. Given that I religiously count kilojoules I see less need to weigh daily this time.

Have you heard about Google Scholar? I'd suggest that you try there. There are probably studies which have the answer to your question. You'll probably read an abstract, but the actual journal article won't be free to read. You might know someone who can access the journal article via their university account, or try…

Damn (are we allowed to say the D word here?) this challenge is so inspiring. So many people finished the challenge, and so many people have done 5 or 10 challenges in a row. I'm signing up for the next challenge.

The more variables the better. I've seen distance from shoulder to hips used in one index. Some necks are longer than others but don't really contribute to fatness / thinness.

I was always under the impression that the additional male muscle weight roughly equalled what breasts weigh.
-
It doesn't ask a fundamental question: how muscular are you? Compare myself to my brother. Almost the same height, but goal weights are 10 kilograms different. My brother is more muscular than the general male population (by say 5kg) and I am less muscular by about 5 kg. Why don't indexes ask how muscular a person is?

Kik is a relatively useful app but the public forums there are rubbish. Usually it lasts about a week or two on my phone before being deleted.

I'm flakey, to myself. Not to other people but when I tell myself to do something, there is a good chance that it won't happen. I don't know whether it's laziness, anxiety, or just not caring. This is a bit of a problem, as an example I arrived in Singapore one day at 11pm without accommodation. That really shouldn't…

My ideal mate is no longer with us. First girlfriend, long term relationship.

Yes but it's unrelated to weight loss. Jealousy is a normal emotion, we're all blessed with it in varying degrees. Even animals get jealous. Anyway... Try to not get too worked up worrying about your jealousy. It'll drain your mental energy resources. You need that for weight loss.

"Too skinny". How often do you see a person in Western countries who are too skinny and don't have a medical condition? I can't remember the last time.

This is what 5 kilograms difference looks like

I can't just go low carb suddenly because I get really tired and that doesn't mix well with my job. I've decided to drop carbs by 10g/day above 100g and 5g/day below 100g.
-
If you don't have a job and have a lot of spare time for exercise, yes you can achieve it.

I have a dream of being married, does that count here? Actually, I want a relationship where marriage is an obvious decision, I won't marry just anyone. There have been two previous relationships where I wanted to marry them but it didn't happen, I'm hoping that 3rd time's a charm. Let's see for my current girlfriend.

Congratulations on reaching goal weight.

I'm in.

I have chronic fatigue syndrome. I typically gain 1 kg a month. Initially I thought that was because my metabolism had slowed due to my spending so much time in bed, but then I realised that it's because I am tired all the time, and people are hungrier when tired. As for losing weight, it's pretty much the same. Eat less…

I haven't read all responses but manufacturers frequently provide more food than the label says. That's to allow for the fact that some containers will have less than expected, due to manufacturing differences.

Not petty but it dawned on me that I needed to stop having refined sugar and lose weight as well, otherwise my relationship could be at risk. If I developed diabetes and my long distance girlfriend couldn't come to my country (maybe her daughter couldn't come as well) we'd have to break up because her country lacks proper…

For that workout, how many calories are consumed? How does it compare to running? Wolfram Alpha gives a fat loss of 140g for an hour of "Male 98 kg running 10 km/hr". That's not a lot of weight reduction.

"you don't need to give a reason why you want to lose weight".

87.0 kg 1st July 86.9 kg 2nd July, 57 g/day needed I'm not sure about doing exercise right now, I'll be really busy for the next 5 months and it would be great to not have to exercise. The following 7 months I'll be much less busy. I'd rather aim at keeping my kilojoules as close as possible to 6,000. 86.5 3rd July, 56…

Adrift. I went home and went to bed for a nap after. I haven't done that in years.

Well I didn't achieve weight loss in November, so I stopped my streak of 8 months losing every month. I'm pleased with that achievement. I don't have access to a scale for a while, so I'm using measurements for December. December 98.5, 97.8, 87.8, 92.6, 97.9

Monday wasn't a great day in terms of weight loss. I celebrated something important. No exercise, probably until Saturday.
-
Sunday I didn't eat particularly healthy but I ate under a maintenance level. I don't have a scale at home so it will be a few days or so until I weigh myself. No exercise.

Welcome saj110411. So yesterday (Saturday) I did what I always do when I restart my weight loss. I treated myself to some nice food. Coffee and slice early on in the day, sausage and chips in the evening. I didn't do any exercise. Everything changes today.
