I'm fitter now than I was in my teens, never mind my 20's! And I've seen photo's from 15 years back. I was definitely carrying more weight around than I thought at the time.

As in a daily calorie allowance set deliberately below what would be required to maintain a set body weight. 1500 per day in my case (with no exercise).

The first time I went on a keto diet I did the exact same thing. And yes, I did lose a fair amount of weight. However after a while I plateaued which is probably because my weight dropped to the point where my maintenance calories coincided with what I was eating. Since going back on keto I've been careful to go with a…

I've been doing workouts with British Military Fitness for nearly 2 years now and I've made pretty big improvements across the board. I can now sprint like a panicking gazelle, squat like a kangaroo with IBS and perform diamond pushups without immediately faceplanting. Doing burpees when I'm out of breath still makes me…

Coffee is awful and wrong and was actually considered satanic until a pope got hooked on it. All downhill from there IMO! ;-)

Keeps me ticking over from 8 -5. I'm usually feeling the hunger by the time I get home from work but not bad. Ultimately, if it works, it works. It doesn't matter if the reason you think it works is wrong. Even folk remedies coincide with scientific fact every now and then.

I'm most of the way there and I've only just eaten breakfast (although I'm going for 5/25/70). It's not that difficult.

For me keto works because it keeps me from feeling hungry and doesn't require any planning, decisions or brains. Most of the stuff I would normally eat before I went keto has so many goddamn calories I've busted my allowance before lunch and by 1pm my gut is growling.

I've been on a keto diet since the beginning of March. I'm supposed to be doing on a 5 days on/1 day off basis but still staying within my set MFP calorie limit so I get a steady weight loss. Working out so far, but I actually have more trouble on my days off than any of the others. I spent my last one wandering around the…

I picked up a Garmin a few weeks back. It's turned me into a total calorie countin' nerd I must confess.

I'm a screen printer by trade, so I buy all my stuff wholesale :expressionless: I'm a shorts 'n t-shirt guy though, even in wintertime. Never been one for these fancy base layers.

I attend an outdoor bootcamp style group. Most of the time my workout thoughts consist of either swearing, sub-rational gibbering or endless wondering about whether breathing is supposed to be as hard as I find it and whether I'll ever be able to do 10 burpees after a 200m sprint without feeling like my entire…

I was in the same place as you a few years back when I did the Couch 2 5K. It's important to get your running technique right. Make sure you have decent training shoes with good arch support and try not to "bounce" too much as you run.
