Hello :) Maybe you can try learning more about food? Taking an interest in nutrition and understanding what I eat and why I eat it has helped me a lot.

Hello :) For the first time I'm on a 24 day streak and all because I decided to check out the community. Because of these awesome people I won't be giving up so soon, and neither will you ;) Well done on those 11 pounds!

Hello Nicole! Support is everything, I didn't know how much I needed it until I got it here. I'm also incredibly shy, if there are more than 3 people in a group my mind will go blank and I won't be able to put out a word! But online friends are great, it's a lot easier :) You should try out different workouts! Of course…

Hi there :)

I google that question a few weeks ago haha. Still haven't found my answer, but I liked the suggestions that involve taking care of yourself, like a bubble bath!
-
Hey there, welcome :D

I suggest strength training! It's awesome because it will help you build muscle and you will notice yourself getting stronger and stronger. It's so exciting for me going from doing 3 push-ups in a row to 20, all in 2 or 3 weeks. And I only do bodyweight, so imagine if you use weights! I used an app called "Fabulous" for…

Hello! That's good, scales can become an obsession. They're great when you're losing a lot, but once it slows down they're evil. There's a lot of advice around the forum, and if there's anything you need to know, just ask :)

Oh that's interesting! It makes sense, I checked out my sugar at the end of the day yesterday and I was over my limit, but it was all from fruit and veggies. Apparently some veggies have a lot of sugar! It doesn't seem right to avoid eating a lot of these foods because of natural sugar.

Hey :) I've always struggled with consistency. I went from being very underweight to still not overweight, but definitely some extra fat. In the past two years I was spending a couple of weeks starving myself, then one month binging. And repeat. But this time I decided to reach out and introduce myself here in the…

Hey Elizabeth! Very well said. We are the only ones that can actually make a difference for ourselves, wishing things were different won't make it happen. And yes, having people that understand and support you is the best thing you can do for yourself, we can't do this alone :)
-
Hello! I'm glad you made the decision to treat your body how it deserves :) It's so important to eat good food. I refuse to spend money on gyms so I workout at home and it's great!
-
I think you're good! It's not going over by a lot, I wouldn't worry about it. You're doing awesome, I believe you're on the right track!
-
Hey Kat :) Honestly, being a part of the community has really helped me stick with it. Seeing people working hard on your feed, and congratulate you for your achievements, it's the best motivation.
-
Hey there, welcome back! Sounds like the right thing to do, I would definitely pay more attention to advice coming from someone who is applying it as well :)
-
Hum...water? Sorry, but I think that's the only thing with no calories. If you want low calories, veggies of course!

@SweatsOnSunday it's better to overlog than underlog! I think I'm doing good on sugar, I often go over sodium limit, but it's because I eat a lot of soup (not homemade, so it's full of spices and stuff). But it's something you can improve with time, I think you'll still succeed if you focus more on your calories and macros!
-
Sounds like a great plan! :)

Same exact thing happened to me a couple of days ago! I searched in the database and chose one that made sense, considering the amount of food I ate. But I prefer to pick the ones with the most calories, just to be safe, even if I don't feel like I had that many. But yeah, it's better if you make it yourself! If you guess…

Yes, a scale is key, we're often way off when we guess. You'll find a lot of great recipes around the forum :)
-
Awesome, good job!

It definitely is a lot of work. Whenever I can, I log my food the previous day, I plan my meals. It's annoying to be worrying about it all day. For this to work it's important for you to weigh your ingredients. It does take a lot of time, especially in the beginning. If there is a combination of ingredients that you do…

Soup! Very low calorie, very filling!
-
That's a great start! Keep going :)
-
Health feels so good, totally worth the work! Good luck to you as well :)
-
Hey :) Tracking your food is so helpful, I believe you'll see a big difference, and learn a lot about what you eat.
-
Awesome, welcome! :)
-
Awesome! Tracking what you eat is definitely the most important step. Working out is great, but doesn't do much by itself, if you don't know what you're eating :)
-
Welcome, both of you! Lots of encouragement and support around the community :)
