Yes! I've even had two fasting days in the last week and my weight has not changed at all, but I am drinking so much water that I expected this to happen. When it cools down over the next week I'm expecting to see a woosh on the scales.

I do two 24 hour fasts each week (mostly overnight) and find that so easy to stick to (I go lunch to lunch) and easy to integrate to my social life.

I go back in slowly after a fast; a little carb and lots of protein. Higher protein makes fasting easier in general. The best thing about ESE is that you don't really need to do small, low cal meals between the fasts; you just need to eat to maintenance and eat well. It's been a good first week, the second fast was much easier than the first (I did 20.5 hours, as opposed to 24) and I've had a 3.6lbs loss this week.

I've just started Eat Stop Eat this week, doing two days a week where lunch is my last meal until lunch the next day. I find it easier than the traditional 5:2 as I don't go a whole day on minimal food but when I stop eating, I stop. For me it's easier to eat nothing for the period as opposed to eating little bits.
