Everyone has been saying even 150g is too high..then what is my ideal amount of protein?
-
Problem is theres so much information out there on what i should and shouldn't eat or how many calories and macros etc.. its all too confusing for me and can get a disheartened by it all. Hence why i asked a professional to help me.
-
Thanks for that :)
-
To be honest no, shes the professional im not so haven't questioned her. I may just mention that i am struggling to have that much protein throughout the day.. i can defo eat the carbs though lol

Thank you, yes its been a long battle for me. Im doing ok at the momment, we shall see how it does. I am sure i will learn lots more along the way too. X

The reason for your post is what exactly.. i asked for more protein ideas not for someone to post everything negative ive gone through...
-
Thanks for the reply. Will defo ask her.. i do a lot of weight training this could be the reason why. Ive always struggled to get a lot of protein in to be honest, i love my food its just hitting the correct macros.

Thank you to everyone who gave me some ideas. Im tired eating eggs lol hence why im trying to find other ways to get some extra protein.
-

Eeek :s But to answer everyones questions I have started training with a personal trainer and she has recommended i eat 1650kcal with 4 to 5 days of training. Its 150g ..yep defo 150g lol of protein 180g of carbs and 40g of fat My weight is 59kgs and im 159cm tall :)

Thanks so much for this, i will definately write these down and answer this questions and repeat the answers to myself and try to rearrange the macros. Unfortunately with my disordered eating im scared of eating too much of one thing.

"Why not just plan them into your regular intake" i know i tell myself this right after I've bloody binged. I am averaging on around 1200kcal and may go over when i binge on rubbish stuff given to me at the school i work or at home. My work is active, as an example i do around 8 to 10k steps a day. When i do go to the gym…

What a positive person you are. Would be so nice to have someone as positive and as willing to come and join me at the gym and motivate me. Thank you :)
-
Its true, i think i may literally need to wipe out anything naughty in the house and somewhat go cold turkey, as i hate myself for it. I am definately not burnt out from the gym as i have no motivation to go..which makes me sad as it was something i honestly enjoyed. I have tried to log my food ..however working at a…

I love how everyone has such different ways of achieving their goals and how to keep consistent! Reading through these help me to find the courage and motivation to give myself a goal and stay consistent with it. I work in an SEN school where consistency is a must, i can do it 100% but why do i struggle to do it for myself…

Its difficult talking to people who dont understand , my bf is a lifter and a has the body of adonis and i think its this that is causing me added pressure. Maybe i need to talk to him properly and he can give me advice that is needed. Ive gone to nutritionists before and have given me diets to follow but scared that its…

Loved this reply as its from someone who understands my world. I didnt realise how much working at an SEN school could affect me this much, as much as i love my job. I want to start yoga and have been thinking about going after work. As tired as i am in the mornings and having to get up at 5:15 to go before work, i find i…

Yes it is very mentally challenging and unfortunately after work i am absolutely exhausted all i want to do is go home and switch off.. but then again its all about adapting. I would love to start classes and most definitely yoga! Yes a lot of people think im crazy for going at 6:15 am in the morning but believe it or not…

Thank you for all the suggestions. Ive had blood tests and they have all come out fine. My vitamin D tends to drop quite low especially living in the UK. i try to sleep 8 hours however i am a light sleeper and wake up frequently but get back to sleep.

I have thought of this many times, but again its that negative thinking process, am i really doing a good work out at home without equipment?
-
Im not putting on weight which is good, however certainly not losing it. i guess a lot of it is down to self image, never happy with my body. I work in a school with special education needs children, the job is quite physical and mentally challenging. I shouldn't use this an excuse but i think this is what the matter is,…

This is the thing, i love the gym when i am there, its just the before. I feel so tired! Im a morning person anyway but sometimes i just cant get up and find that motivation to go.

Does it not have any other benefits? Ive read that it does not help with weightloss however curbs hunger, helps with bloating and is good for your skin. Am i right lol?
