I wouldn't try to lose that last 20 pounds of fat too fast. When is the meet? I've lost 8 pounds overnight for a meet as a 145lb woman. Just do a little water cut for the last few pounds. Nothing crazy.

My cut this week was a total failure! For the first time in my life I've been experiencing HORRIBLE insomnia. Two nights out of 5 I got 1-2 hours of sleep, and I got my period. I just had to eat. I was literally awake for almost 24 hours two of the days :( Trying not to beat myself up. This week HAS to be better though.…

Fish and Chips...the whole portion? 1200-1500 cals

Following. I can't "lean" on my side in bed(chilling/watching netflix and reading) for very long anymore without my arm falling asleep. It was never a problem until about a year ago. I've sustained back injuries since then and am a heavy lifter. I've been curious about it as well.

Mine gets wonky with weight loss/deficit. I just wish it would go away honestly.

I have cellulite. Guys still want to sleep with me. Maybe they care, maybe they don't. Still cute tho.

Hm..I have a bad reaction to high carb intake. But only HIGH. I feel bruised the next day and definitely unhappy and unwell. A chocolate bar wouldn't do it though.
-
BOIL?? No.

Are you asking if keeping the intensity on the bar and reducing volume on a cut works better for one? I think so, because the heavy weight/compound lifts are effective for maintaining muscle mass while it's easier to stay in a deficit without super high volume workouts.

I have elevated liver enzymes. I forget if they were still high this year but last year I also tested positive for mono antibodies so the doc thought the enzymes were high due to that. At first I was very worried but, I'm a healthy woman. The doctor said not to worry if they don't go any higher. ETA: I do take high doses…

Word. I'm not that smart.

PHUL would be a pretty big decrease in volume. I mean, depends on your goals. I worked through PHUL to PHAT and now am on PH3. I can't imagine running PHUL as is now.

These happens to me when I have high carb intake. I feel bruised. Does yours feel that way?

RP is not BS. I love Dr. Mike Israetel and have gone to a seminar of his. Some people just like the template. I don't think it's necessary or even great for gen pop but I know a lot of athletes/serious lifters who enjoy it

I don't want to be average. I don't really need motivation.

Hmm... In high school I did the Special K diet. I think they told you to replace two meals per day with the cereal. I lost weight...it got me into a deficit. But I didn't know why obviously.
-
I do better with a small serving of cereal as a mix in to greek yogurt. There is a Kashi high fiber cereal that I think is only 60 calories for a serving and it's really a big serving. I add that to yogurt for a crunch. The fiber and protein keeps me fuller for longer.

And do you lose weight on 2000 calories? But yes, diet break.
-
I drink a lot of carbonated and diet drinks. But I USE them to help curb my hunger and fill up my belly, because I'm knowingly "dieting". If I wasn't tracking my intake or trying to lose weight, I might associate a carbonated drink with a snack or a burger and mindlessly eat along with it. That doesn't really explain the…

I try to log it or I use a quick add option. I pretty much know the difference between a 2000, 3000, and 4000 calorie day so I'll quick add one of them. I do this because I need to see data. If you don't log it, your weekly calories are going to be way more off. Just yesterday I was looking through my diary LAST year at…

What's in those protein shakes besides powder?

My legs get more sore as I get deeper into a deficit. I'm recently just incorporated a LITTLE bit of running and notice my legs are a bit heavy feeling and I struggle with squats. I'd say cut back on your running a bit, and make sure you're training legs twice per week.

What kind of job do you have? What is your lifestyle like? Do you live in a city and walk a lot or do you drive everywhere? Chase kids around? Etc.

Oh that's harrrrrd...pankcakes Cheesecake Birthday Cake

Depends on your activity outside of lifting. I get about 10-12k steps per day and lift 5 days per week. I've been set at lightly active for years without cardio and it works for me.

Anything I can put in a carby bun, pizza, or taco...I put in a salad.

After 3.5 years maybe someone does now.
