The thing I've had to find out about calorie counting is patience and adjustments. I log my weight loss every day even though it's advised not to in general, but I like to see my patterns. I know this weekend I will BLOATLORD it up with water weight from the garbage I will partake in. The only long-term weight tracking…

I swear 1200 is the magic number to freak you people out :D I'll keep riding the increase and we'll see where it takes me, I'll just have to trust everyone it won't make me balloon up.

I went for about two weeks total, wanting to go as long as possible (possibly months). I was making sure to drink water and "snake juice" (basically salt water, pink salt and NoSalt mixed together for electrolytes). I noticed a difference in being able to sleep better at night for one thing, don't know if that was a major…

Hey everyone, just wanted to say I am still reading through the thread, I appreciate everyone's input and can make a more thoughtful post after work and crossfit today.

I started seriously losing weight around June 16 and am almost at the 110 pounds lost mark, need to drop 70 - 80 more to get to my goal. I'm starting to have some serious self doubt though. For example, the past ten years I've been an ultra fatty who hid away from the world and now I almost feel like I'm slowly coming out…

Where do you even find a dance mat anymore? I can't buy one since I was in high school and like hell I can find one in any last standing arcade.

According to MFP it's about 82 grams through the week days, more on week ends.

For now its just weight loss. I do want to get fit eventually. For the time being I am taking crossfit and when I hit goal weight I'll be going back to a "normal" gym for bulking and weight lifting. My macros seem fine other than missing 4 - 5 percent of protein. I think about adding another scoop to my shake after…

I know. I've been thinking about upping the calories but I have some issues. First being I don't want an increase to lead back to old habits and gaining back weight. Second being I at the very least want to get to 200 first. I'm averaging around 2 to 2.5 lost a week so that should be what, four months?

Just on a big cut I guess. My SW was 330 now I'm at 237. Everyone keeps telling me I'm doing bad with low calories but I haven't had any health problems yet and I eat more on the weekends, like 1500 to 1600. Makes me mad though because it seems like that weekend weight will NOT leave until official weigh in day. Messes…

Any opinion on the Kirkland bars from Costco? People have said they are on par with Quest bars but I don't know.

I just want to be normal.

To be honest I hate the holidays. From Halloween until the day after Christmas I am basically maintaining. The old me would have probably gained 20+ pounds. I'm actually really excited for Tuesday since I can get back to it with no more social pressure or guilt trips.

Nice job!

I've been hitting two pounds a week but I'm a fat guy, I think kommo has the right idea.

First I'll say it all comes down to whether you want it or not.100% your dedication to it. That being said... I know that when I start wondering "is this all worth it, I'm sick of this" I go to my computer and check my selfies I've taken. Basically every two weeks I take pictures of myself in the mirror to get an estimate…

Awful gout attack last summer. Nearly had me lose my job because of the time off I was asking for to deal with the pain. Could hardly move and didn't really eat for about three days straight. Then when I started the healing process I took a long hard look at how I got to that point. That was me at 330 pounds and last…
