I love hiking as well, and I am lucky to be in Quebec with access to several mountains. I do also participate in a hiking group where we drive 3+ hours to the Adirondacks and hike 8-10 hour trails Check meetup.com, you can find a local hiking group you can join :)

I use Garmin VivoActive HR with GPS and there is a custom hike app that i love. Calculates everything includes walking speed, average speed, elevation gain and loss and much more. Totally recommend it

I do another type of Hot yoga (Moksha yoga) and a 60 min class (that includes 5 min warm up and 5 min cool down) only burns 280-350 calories depending on intensity since pose vary every class unlike Bikram which has the same poses every time
