When you make it let us know how this compares to great quality stuff from Italy. And I know it can be good enough. A lot of things are. But good quality cheese at home.... nahhhhhhhhhh. Thats not one of those.
Not sure when I'll get up the coast to buy the milk. Not for sale in shops, not here at least. Can't say I agree with you. The feta we made a few weeks back tasted just like a creamy type of feta. We'll try the crumbly version soon but halloumi is next. I was gifted a great cheese making kit so trying all sorts of cheeses out gradually.
By the way the most disgusting "fresh" mozarella I ever ate .. well I had a couple of bites and left the rest it was so bad was in a very nice restaurant on my last trip to Italy so I get what means by bad moz. My guess is it wasn't too fresh, should have sent it back.1 -

Turkish salad. Inauthentic vaguely Turkish pastries made minced lamb and spinach and filling for gozleme, Chinese spring roll wrappers (easier to handle than phyllo), folded like spanakopita and baked in the air fryer after a brush of melted butter. Yoghurt and garlic sauce.

My take on low cal meatless tacos.
Morningstar meatless griller crumbles, light sour cream, yellow corn tortillas, pico de gallo, carne asada seasoning (~260 cals for 3) Cherry limeade sparkling water = 0 cals8 -
Veggie soba bowl for lunch. No evidence of the Pimms and pizza for dinner 😉💃🏽

Cooked dinner for a girlfriend. Single people are now allowed to join with another household as a "support network" . We will be feeding her every other Saturday while lockdown is in place. Primo of linguine alla vodka, secondo of roast chicken, contorno of sauteed asparagus, dolci of Sicilian almond and pistachio granitas.

Greek salad, some vaguely Eastern Med pastries I made last week pulled out of the freezer and warmed up in the air fryer. Pastry casing was Chinese spring wrappers, filling from a recipe for Turkish gozleme, folded like mini spanakopita, brushed with melted butter and frozen. Yoghurt and garlic sauce for the savoury pastries.

Taco time shiitake rehydrated with tvp, smashed toasted nuts & fennel seeds with taco seasoning.
So happy with how it turned out and will be making again
