Tackle, I refreshed many, many times tonight before it finally took my exercise entry. I'd say it took, at least, 10 minutes of refreshing and re-entering the information for the site to work. Helium - Thanks. I looked around for a forum for technical issues, but I must have not looked in the right place. I'm glad other…

I like Ezekiel bread just fine, but I bought Silver Hills on my last shopping trip. I'll be buying it from now on. It's tasty, and there's 8 grams of fiber in 2 slices. I toast it up and add 4 tbsp of Costco guac for breakfast each morning. You can't beat it. Yummy AND filling!

Actually, no. I'm not a scientist or nutritionist, and I wasn't claiming to be an expert in my answer. I simply noted what helped me. It may not be the answer for everyone. These recipes did use items like maple syrup and bananas, but they were in limited amounts, a tbsp vs cups like most sweet treats. Perhaps it slowly…

YES! I did, and it is most definitely real. I'm not lying when I say that I would put away a 12-pack box of drumsticks, for example, over a 1 1/2-2 day period. I was ALWAYS craving something, especially sweets, and I couldn't get enough. In my situation, I found a vegan site called "Oh She Glows." For the record, I'm not…

Good job! To what do you attribute the loss? Calorie counting? A particular diet plan? Exercising? A combination?

I use Libra on my Samsung, and I like it. I don't use it for anything other than tracking my daily weight and looking for the trend, but it may have additional functions.

Two good, toasted pieces of bread (I love a good local market bakery bread with zero sugars in it) with 4 tbsp of costco guacamole and sliced tomatoes, if I have them on hand. I eat it for breakfast almost everyday, and it keeps me full for 4 hours.

No kidding! I was starving just reading his post.

Same here. I get them just looking at pineapples and other acidic foods. I'll have to give the TUMS trick a try.

Too funny. I've never thought of it like that. I even told my mom a while back that I was done losing, if I started getting loose skin.

For me, cereal doesn't cut it. I need a good, solid breakfast to start my day, or I will eat everything I see later in the day. I would try exchanging that cereal for something more substantial, like eggs. Another one of my favorite breafasts is 2 pieces of a hearty bread with 4 tablespoons of Costco guacamole, and sliced…

Good morning, I'm no expert here, and I recently started here myself, but I can try to help. I think one of the first questions people will ask if it's your TOM. That definitely affects your weight. Also, I don't have a lot of time to check your diary, but I looked at a couple days. You mentioned that you "weigh a lot of…

That's the secret, eh? M&Ms for every meal of the day! I think I'd be willing to make that sacrifice.

Quest Bars, baggies of mixed nuts, or turkey/beef sticks.

Do you try to work with the macros or just the calorie count? For me, I've been able to eat fewer calories because I'm working on nailing the fat, protein, and fiber counts each day. I think that's been the biggest difference. I'm actually filling up on healthy, nourishing foods and not just eating x-amount of calories.

Animals really are an amazing gift. I'm so sorry for your loss, but I'm glad you had those years together. It sounds like you two were exactly what the other needed. God bless you.

Another vote for meal prepping over Herbalife. My SIL and her parents did Herbalife, lost weight, and gained it all back, I'm pretty sure. I don't think it really taught them anything, and the ingredients don't seem to be the healthiest. If you have time on the weekends, you can make foods you like for the meals where you…

I would eat something decent today to make it through the night and start fresh tomorrow. I plan the next day's meals the night before, so I can just throw it together the next day. I haven't been caught off guard since I started a little over a month ago. Also, when you log your calories, do you confirm the numbers in…

You can either adjust the current entry to the correct numbers or create your own food item, using the McDonald's nutrition listing. I would do the latter and just keep it on my entries, not adding it to the database. It's already overrun with incorrect entries.

1. How long have you been using MyFitnessPal? A little over a month 2. How long have you been trying to lose weight? Off and on for over 20 years 3. Would a course like this possibly have been helpful for you when you started losing weight and/or using MyFitnessPal? Possibly. My issue hasn't necessarily been willpower, but…

I must be missing something. I bought some recently, and I found it to be awful. I couldn't get past the first couple spoons, and I ended up throwing it out. I still have a container in the fridge that I'll never eat. I'd throw it out, but it's not cheap, and I feel guilty for wasting the money.

lol Sweet tooth much? I'm intrigued by the Quest bars into cookies idea. I've seen people suggesting warming them up. I may have to try your version.
-
I would add that the Fiber One Double Chocolate Almond bars would work, as well, and they have a good bit of fiber in them to boost that macro.
-
You can make that BLT into a salad.

Because I typically don't eat a lot of sugar, I moved the fiber column into its place with my other macros. I feel like I need to monitor it more than sugar. Maybe move that column to your macros so you can watch it more closely.

-Assortment of Frozen meals: I quit cooking, for the most part, because it's just me. I found I wasted a lot of food, so I've started buying these again. The sodium is ridiculous, naturally, but it's worth it because I'm better able to stay on track. Also: -Guacamole (from Costco) -a particular sugar free sunflower and oat…

Good to know. I'm looking forward to that, as I'm ALWAYS freezing!

Stay in a cold, air-conditioned room and eat? ;) But really, I tend to lose my appetite a little more in the summer, too. What about eating big salads and protein smoothies? I would think you could add up quite a few calories and macros eating those two things.

My SIL and her mom/dad did it for a while, but none of them is still on it. In fact, I'm pretty sure they gained back any of the weight they lost. Plus, they aren't the healthiest options out there. I'd stay away, free or not...but that's me.
