  • I workout after work and somedays I am unable to go to the gym until after dinner. I get home about the time I normally go to bed. It takes a little bit until I can wind down but no more than an hour. I will often use my foam roller these nights to help relax. Once I am asleep, I sleep well these nights.
  • My boss just started taking this drug combo. He said the doc told him that the topamax is to keep you from going speed crazy on the phentermine.
  • You can check out my diary, but ignore my weekends.
  • Look up beginner workouts on YouTube and try different ones. I loved kick boxing and it was something I could do in the beginning. I am sure I looked ridiculous and I could barely kick and couldnt move as fast so I didnt do as many reps, but it was FUN and the more I did it, the better I got. If walking is your thing, then…

I know this can be time consuming and you dont have much time to yourself between school and work but if u truly want to lose weight, you must make your health a priority. 1200 calories isnt much in a day. I generally eat at this level and if I eat mostly…
  • When I get sinus infections I get a metallic taste in my mouth. My husband has had it happen when he had an infected tooth even though he had no pain.
  • Thanks! I have been pushing myself and it feels good! I am up 10-20 pounds on all machines over the past month and am doing almost twice as much cardio as I did starting out. Now I am working on adding incline and resistance during cardio.

  • [quote="Also keep in mind that weight loss is mostly done in the kitchen. You can't outrun a bad diet - so make sure your calorie counting is accurate and you will see results.[/quote] I am weighing my food, eating mostly whole foods, and am seeing amazing results already! I have actually been forcing myself to eat more…
  • Hey everyone! My name is Emily and I am 35. I am married with 2 kids. I have a desk job (paralegal) so before I started my weight loss journey I was very inactive. I need to lose 100 pounds and get in shape. I have lost 10 pounds so far and am going to the gym 4-6 times per week. I am weighing my food and counting calories…
  • Oh, I know I have to do the work. I don't expect my medicine to get me over my levels so I can lose weight. I would like to feel like I did before it was removed as weight gain is not the only thing that has changed since my surgery. I am simply not the same person anymore, mind or body. My doctor told me that I may have…
  • I just started my new journey with MFP. Logging my food every day as I eat it helps. I have also discovered the community and when I have a bad craving, I start reading everyone's posts and that helps too. I have taken before photos and keep them on my phone to look at when I am feeling unmotivated. Also, write your story.…
