I don't live an active lifestyle. My fitbit tells me a get 2k-3k steps. Sometimes less. so I dont plan on my activity level doing much to burn calories. I want to boost my bmr because im messing out on 300 calories a day or 2100 a week. My bmr makes weight loss harder and weight gain easier.

I too get 2k before and after the fitbit. When I first got the fit bit it was motivating but now it isnt.

You could be taking in too many calories. Try calorie counting.

Ohh, ok that makes sense. I thought sugar regardless of how many calories has been consumed got converted into fat. I get it now. Thank you and everyone else for clearing that up!

Same here. I'm in my first week trying to lose 10lb right now.
