The trouble is, they'll just replace sugar with artificial crap, which is equally, if not more damaging ... We'll see won't we :/

I have no faith in anywhere that charges you to step on the scales - the GP will do it for free (well the practice nurse) and if you pop to a supermarket, most of them sell weighing scales for you to use at home. Weight Watchers, Slimming World, Zoe Harcombe, they're all businesses and they're out to make money, just a any…

I'm into Fitness and I'm on the FODMAP diet ... Pretty self explanatory & not very exciting really :D

I'm sat at the local Grosvenor casino running the Support Desk on laptops, along with my 25 colleagues, as our internet has gone down in our office - the casino staff just bought us some dinner, it's been a pretty awesome day so far

Finished work at 7am, got home from work at 8:15am and I'm now sat watching the window waiting for my kettlebells to be delivered ... I'm just thinking to myself it's lucky that DPD are delivering between 9:15am & 10:15am because I'm tired and would probably fall asleep and miss the door if they were to deliver any later :D

Oh bless you, you sound like you're going through it right now ... Thank you for accepting the friend request, I hope we can support one another through the tough times and maybe even give each other some food tips. Take care ❤️

Hi, I feel you completely ... I have been counting calories since November 2012 (my old account got deleted, so had to start all over again last May) but to be completely honest I am a lifter, so my biggest concern is Macros, not really calories, but that is where MFP comes into it - I log EVERYTHING and mark foods that…

I have a home gym, and I would say my OCD is I never leave a disk on a bar, I always put everything away after use - I mean it's not like it would upset or inconvenience anyone, because it's my gym in my house and I'm the only member, but I still religiously put everything back as it should be after every use - it's the…

I'm in Derbyshire, well almost is South Yorkshire ... Feel free to add me - I'm an exercise junkie, I log daily, my diary is open, even if I forget to post it at the end of each day ... Be warned it's not particularly inspiring, because I'm wheat & lactose intolerant and I'm allergic to onions, so some folk will think it's…

I don't have a goal weight now, I have a goal body fat percentage, which is a far way off, but it's a journey and I'm enjoying, so I'm in no rush.
-
I do weight training & cardio 3 times a week, taking rest days on Saturdays only - my body fat percentage has reduced, I've got a bit heavier, but my waist, neck and hips are smaller.
-
I've got heavier over the last year, but slimmer, because I'm changing my body composition.

I have PCOS and Endometriosis, I'm 44 and perimenopausal, but I went from 321lb in November 2012 to 157.6lb in November 2014 - I am maintaining my weight ... it is definitely possible, you just need to find what works for you - I find daily exercise, moderate carbs, moderate fat and higher protein works best for me.
-
I follow the Low FODMAP diet - it's for working out allergies, intolerances and other pain triggers. I have completed the elimination phase and done some rechallenging, but I have found a level that works for me, I know what I can tolerate in small doses, in higher doses and what to avoid completely. If you're interested,…

Hi Everyone, I started my journey in November 2012 at 145.6kg - 321lb, I started following a calorie controlled diet and by November 2014 I was down to 71.1kg - 157.6lb - I have been working on maintenance ever since. I currently weigh 77kg - 169.8lb, because I was unwell from October 2016 through to finding out what my…

I'm not losing weight as such any more, but I lost 164lb between November 2012 & November 2014 - I've been maintaining ever since ... I'm happy to add people, or be added in order to offer support & accountability if anyone is happy to have a 44 year old UK lady on their friend list.

I just wanted to say well done and share my before & after picture - I was 39 when I started in 2012 and 41 when I finished in 2014; age is just a number, so thank you for sharing your story, you are an inspiration.

Hi, I'm on here primarily to stay accountable, as I'm trying to reduce body fat percentage, so I weigh-in every Sunday morning (UK time) ... I have a very restricted diet, on medical grounds - I have fructose malabsorption, I'm allergic to onions (therefore the entire onion & garlic family are a complete no go zone) I'm…

New weight lifting gear ... I got a few bits for Christmas - Kettlebells, Lifting Gloves, Belt for my Polar HR Sensor & Wrist Guards for my Kettlebell workouts ... they were my favourite presents of 2017. Oh and 5pm on a Friday ... !!

I couple of years ago I decided to go to my local WW group, but when the leader was introducing the plan I interrupted her because something she said shocked me and just had to point out how scientifically wrong that was, she stopped mid sentence and said "You're new, how could you even know this sort of stuff?" so I came…
