Be consistent with your logging. Whether you had a good day or bad what matters is being accountable to yourself. Over time, you subconsciously become better at keeping track and that's the most important thing about losing weight, KNOWING.

Also touched me inappropriately. I feel unsafe on MFP.

5'7 here. Currently 184, down from 211 in Oct. No goal weight in mind but I don't think I can ever be below 175. With my body type I'd look unhealthy and probably be miserable trying to maintain.

Totally touched me inappropriately.

ROIDS?!! She ain't natty! Burn her!

Good for you. Standing up for yourself and believing in yourself is the first step to a better you. Don't let anyone (not even momma!), dictate what's best for you. Only you truly understand what that is. Being a selfless person is always an admirable thing, but how many times have you heard, "how can you take care of…

Monster Ultra Zero. My go to 'pre workout' if you're into caffeinated drinks.

Good job Meaghan! Keep crushing it!

She said it ^

I'm doing it today. So biased opinion, hell yeah, if you have the time go for it! Theres nothing wrong with it, just know your limits to avoid injury.

Daaaaayum... @HoldTheDoor13 you're beastin this meal prep thing. If there isn't a ring on that finger I don't know what they're waiting for.

Happy mothers day exhausted mum. Here's to 18ish years more!

I'm in the same boat. I don't sweat it personally but we obviously have different goals because I'm not watching the scale at all. But I know the feels man. Its tough. I dont have anything to add, just reading the responses for advice too.

Boba Fett for sure. You have 2 of the baddest mf'ers already, can't just put some random storm trooper next to them. And Ren has daddy issues... I think that speaks for itself. Emperor would be my second choice but... nahh.

I've had 3 'bad' days in a row now, including a day where I went over by 1200! I lost weight this morning... Of course there are plenty of other factors to consider (exercise being the big one for me) but still, don't let it get you down. If anything just keep it in the back of your head and you might subconsciously limit…

Love deadlifts, despise treadmills and stationary bikes. Not because its cardio, but because the windows are right next to them in my gym. Makes me want to just say fluff it and go outside.

He said it ^

Just give up now... Haha just kidding. I'd tell younger, less smart me to be selfish. Stop putting others before yourself, look how fat that made you. Pursue what you want, do you.

I'm in the habit of biking to the gym whenever I can, ESPECIALLY on days my legs are sore. By the time I get there I'm usually feeling good enough to crush a workout. So I'm going to echo everyone above, maybe you need a good warm up routine? Google some dynamic stretches and give that a try. I also find the soreness hits…

I didn't want to assume but you may be right. It's a developing country no doubt, but Bangkok is like any modern city, especially in the touristy areas.

Awesome lead @Theo166 it looks like a great shop. I'm not looking at getting a traditional "Sak Yant" as apparently you need a real monk to do it or its not considered legit anyways. My research suggests there are reputable shops all over the country and as Theo @gcibsthom have pointed out there are some owned/operated by…

I totally get that. I obviously don't know your husband but again, I was in a similar position with my ex. It definitely has to do with ego. My playful comments about her strength definitely had some, "Hey come on, are you trying to show me up?" undertones to it. It wasn't malicious on my part, but more my projecting my…

That's... uncomfortable.

I've been summoned before but I showed up late and they kicked me out on the spot so I didn't have to do it. My older brother got picked on a separate occasion but also got kicked out after the first day of deliberations. I knew one of the other jurors and got a few details from her after the fact and from what she said I…

No you!

I scare myself with images of insulin needles. Kidding. Although that is part of how I stay motivated. Diabetes runs in my family and I strive to be healthy to avoid the same struggles they have to go thru on a daily basis. For me its as simple as that. I'm surrounded by what motivates me.

I think we need more context here. How does he know your strength without witnessing/experiencing it first hand? I feel like part of the story you're leaving out here is that he came out to help with the groceries one day and you're all like, "I got this," and carried 16 bags and the dog (I'm making assumptions) into the…

I am not personally but my younger brother is an EMR and fire fighter in training in northern Canada. Just wanted to say I have a lot of respect for the work you guys do. Not sure if you hear it enough but thank you.

Seeing a therapist is a great thing you're doing for yourself. The fact that you were able to recognize you needed help takes strength in itself. Fitness, no matter what your goals is a mental game as much as it is a physical one. I've never been diagnosed with depression or the like so I cant imagine the mental roadblock…
