64 lbs since April 11th when I started. It's slowing now.

How do we find out if we've been approved to join?
-
I just like to skip breakfast a lot. Nothing special about it nor too rapid weight loss. My other two meals during the day are full of a good number of calories.
-
I'm 35 down total. Started wanting to lose about 80 lbs. Will probably shoot for 100 total loss. 44 more lbs to get to onederland. Feel free to add me everyone.

Thanks . Cardiologist advised to go low sodium but didn't mention a number..

I love a fit man. Now I'm trying to match my husband's fitness level. ;)
-
So how much lower if not 1200 ?

Net calories not carbs*

You know, not everyone is the same. Not everybody yoyos. Personally, I've only tried to lose weight one other time in my life 14 years ago. It worked and then I got pregnant and stopped watching what I ate. I was fully aware of what I was doing. Now this year in April I decided to change my eating habits for good. I'm down…
-
I'm 5'10. Weigh 246 now. Currently I have 1600 calories on mfp.But I eat about 1400. Losing about 1 1/2 to 2 lbs per week.
-
The BMI calculators usually give you a range. Mine is 135-170. I don't ever plan to be 135 lbs at 5 feet 10 inches. Thats just going too far down for me. I'm 247 right now and my last goal is about 180 ish
-
Two months. And yes in total I had about 80-90 to lose. Now I have about 60 ish to go. I'm still losing about 2-3 lbs per week. I'm 41

Maybe yours wasn't the comments being talked about. I'm sorry but saying things like "good luck losing muscle and "see you back here next summer" isn't helping anyone here and is certainly snarky and condescending.
-
Snark. Good word for it lol. As for me I will continue to do what I've been doing. Lost 30 lbs in two months. My bmi is about 35. Some weeks I lose two lbs some weeks I lose four. All while eating between 1200-1400 calories per day. And since I'm under a doctor's care I'll listen to her. Good luck!
-
You can always just download a step app to your phone. Some sync to MFP
-
Never heard of this before. But I'm already doing all those things for free and it's working. I'm down 30 lbs in two months. One month on my own and one month here on mfp. PS. With minimal exercise Good luck!
-
I knew what it meant. For me that would be 125 ozs at this point. I'm good with the 64 ozs from the 8 cups of water lol
-
If you're not going to do this for the rest of your life you're going to immediately gain those 8 lbs back when you start eating again.
-
I drink 8 cups of water a day and done. I have read about drinking half your weight in water every day. That will never be me.
-
Actually, no. I don't reach my step goals every day. I'm still pretty sedentary. Slowing incorporating exercise.
-
Could you possibly not be counting calories correctly ? Are you using a food scale. I started here roughly on the same day as you with 1390 calories and I'm down 13 lbs since being here.
-
MFP gives me 1390 calories per day but I usually come in a little under. Some days I'm hungry at night but I'll just have some fruit. Like strawberries. Or an apple and peanut butter. It's gotten better though. Going on 2 months.
-
I don't think when we eat has any relation to how easily we lose weight. Unless you just mean you tend to overdo it for dinner. The meal I can either skip or have something light is lunch. I love a satisfying dinner. Usually with my husband.
-
How do you view an open diary ? Every time I click on a name it says the feed is private
-
Around 7pm for heavy foods. I will snack on fruit right before bed though and while watching primetime TV.
-
I just lost 31 lbs in 7 weeks. But I started at 279 lbs. Eating between 1200-1400 calories per day. The first 20 happened fast. The other 11 took a month. Now I'm losing at around 2-3 lbs per week. I'm prediabetic and trying not to be. So I'm fine eating where I am now and I'm not hungry. All under my doctor's care.
-
Lol Thanks. I'll try not to be.
-
Thanks. I always work it into my calories. Haven't gone over yet.

I thought about food constantly before and I still do now. But now I'm mostly thinking about what I'm going to prepare for my next meal. I also learned I am an emotional eater. I only think about eating "something bad" when I'm stressed out.
