If you are hungry lower your expectations for a fast weight loss and increase your daily calories.
-
Just worry about your calories and if you are retaining a lot of water you might want to look at sodium.
-
Change what you can and let the past go.

I walk early in the morning before it gets too hot. I have a workout buddy for that....my dog. They are great company and always willing to get up with you. She doesn't like the gym but neither do I so I do different workouts

Cowboy dinners rock. Wrap some meat and veggies in foil and cook over the fire. Delicious and easy.

I weigh once a week as daily fluctuations would drive me nuts. That said if I have a week where I lost nothing then usually the next week it will say 3 or 4 pounds so weekly fluctuations can happen. Don't let the scale be your only measure of success.

You should consider ditching the cheat meal attitude . The nice thing about calorie counting is you can eat what you want as part of a healthy food plan and if you know you are going to have a higher calorie day you exercise more.

Tell us this when your heart gives out at age 40

Can't spot lose weight. It is what it is

You need to learn to stand up for yourself. There will always be situations where people try to push food and you need to decide no means no. Living alone means you no longer can blame someone else for what goes in your mouth!

The strawberry chicken salad at Panera is 360 calories which includes the dressing and you get an apple with it for a snack later!

You can eat what you want when you are counting calories. That being said you will feel better if you are eating healthier. Fresh food is good food. Lean meats, vegetables, fruit, some whole grains. Good luck on your journey

I chose to give up my daily Diet Coke habit because of all the questionable chemicals. I still have one occasionally. I say do what works for you (you save a bunch of money if you switch to tea or water)

Eat at maintenance. Dance in your chair...moving your upper body will give you some burn. As far as the balance question that sounds like a good one for your doctor.
-
So eat it and fit it into your daily calorie goal

You can add me. I have only missed a few days when I was on vacation and couldn't access the internet. I log every day and my diary is open to friends,

I usually make a huge salad with chicken and either veggies or fruit and low cal dressing. Or I make sure I make doubles for dinner and take leftovers for lunch

Oh my I couldn't even have walked for 17 minutes in April. Depression caused me to stop moving too. I started by saying I would walk 2 times a day...some days it was just around the block. I now walk about an hour a day (3 miles or so) and do Zumba 3 times a week. I have dropped 36 pounds and I am eating so much healthier.…

I save at least half my calories for dinner and beyond.

Research online the fast food places you tend to go to. They all have calories listed now. That way you have a go to meal all ready picked out no matter where you go. Other tips...be careful as some salads are calorie bombs. Order sandwiches without mayo and cheese if you want to save calories.

You count them.

Zumba is fun

Slow is better than no! I have lost 36.5 at 1200 a day. It feels slow to me but it didn't pack on overnight and it isn't going to leave quickly. I am changing habits.

Eat less, exercise more, be dedicated!

I weigh in on Sunday mornings. More then once a week would drive me crazy

"If Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her." “Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father...”
