Metformin helped me years ago, although the side effects aren't fun. Honestly, though, my symptoms didn't start to fade until I had lost a significant amount of weight. Losing weight with PCOS can be more challenging so it's somewhat cruel, but that's also the best way for symptoms to subside. I still have some symptoms…

I wish I had started this at the beginning of my journey, sounds like a great idea!

Unfortunately, like @dinadyna21, mine happens while the verrrry slow eater is still working on it. Or before it makes it to the table!

That's incredible!

Ate so much candy tonight... but on the upside, I have a headache and feel uncomfortably full so I'm not tempted to do that again!

I'm in a very similar situation. My first pregnancy had several health issues, so I am working on my weight before trying again.

Just a dumb reason. I just can't shake it even though I'm being stupid!

Thank you for all of the suggestions! I'm going to be checking these things out to see what works best for me. Thanks!!

Thanks for all the great answers! I did rule out the fact that it was ice cream :) This doesn't happen with any other cold/iced foods and happened with only the smallest bite on my tongue and only where it touched my tongue, not my whole mouth. Thanks for the insight, I'll probably pass on it from now on to be safe!

My husband and I would love more, but I knew I had to be in a healthier place first. My body is what nurtures the sweetie for nine months, so I want it to be…

Hello! Feel free to add me! I could use encouragement as well. I'm an emotional eater, struggling to change my eating habits. We can keep each other in line!

Feel free to add me as well. I'm working on 100lbs. and re-training several aspects of my life!

Thank you all for the replies. I calculated my TDEE on a different site, but used the sedentary level because my exercise isn't always predictable. I used sedentary, with the idea of eating back some calories as I exercise. Does that make sense?

If that's the case, I have been eating a dangerously low amount of calories for two months. Is this something that could have done damage to my body, my heart?

I'm 31 years old and 5'8". I put Not Very Active into MFP. My goal calories are 1300, but it's usually somewhere between 1200-1400.
