63 y/o retired mom of 2. Seriously doing MFP since December 29, 2021. 250.8 sw...now at 227.2 and in a bit of an emotional slump. Friends on MFP would be a new thing for me that I'm willing to try... Thank you!

63 year old female here... not my first rodeo...not my first MFP rodeo... Highly motivated after a long and drawn out divorce followed by an amazing and miraculous connection on an on-line dating site... 250.8 on December 28, 2021 to 234.2 on February 14,2022. Blood sugar numbers have dropped as well. Crazy good!

Just wanted to post here that while I ate one piece of marvelous apple pie (and enjoyed every morsel) at a funeral luncheon yesterday...I DID NOT EAT THAT SECOND PIECE that I really wanted!!!! (My brother ate it--his 2nd piece 🥧🥧🥧) Yeah, me! PS I'm 60...trying to make this work (AGAIN) in a non-drastic way that I can live…

My rings are loose so I've switched them around from wedding band on first then engagement ring to engagemention ring on first...then band. It is working for now--35 lbs gone. I'll resize down later! :-D

Wednesday (8/16/17) is our 20th Wedding Anniversary. . .I am .8 pounds from weighing what I did on our wedding day. That's my current "mini" goal and will be about a 50 pound loss from my highest weight in the past 20 years. I can definitely do this! :)
