Lipstick on a pig comes to mind.

Awesome writing. Hilarious! Yeah...moan away. We all need to from time to time. You've obviously just hit a "bleh" patch. Maybe your body is still adjusting to your new regime or maybe it's having a bit of a tantrum. If you're following a Doctor's and Trainer's advice, it should all work eventually. Be patient, be kind to…

I don't care what you call it - sounds like an awesome way to spend time. You're still moving and even if your coffee is a "latte" and you take in a few more calories than you burn, I reckon the "feel-good" benefits of being outside and spending time with your friend knocks it out the park as a "healthy lifestyle" activity!

Check out the free app called "hydro". It prompts you to drink...and the little splashy circle that fills with water as you record your intake is satisfying and kinda fun. :)

Maybe treat yourself to a new fitness DVD that you haven't tried before. That way, you won't compare your performance to the last time you lost the weight. Once the weight has gone (or starts to go), pull the old DVDs back out again for a bit of variety.

So funny.

Really liked this.

@aeshippers great idea to create a new "meal" to record "unnecessary" eating triggered by certain emotions. Never thought of that way of using the functionality before. If you record it, you recognise it and can eventually, tackle it. Good luck with your journey.

I just came across this post. It also makes me sad that you can feel so worthless. But you AREN'T worthless. The first part of your story that stuck out for me is that you are a carer for your Mum. What an amazing and generous person that makes you. That is really something special and selfless. But you can't always care…

That's fantastic, well done. Out of interest, did your doctor put your high cholesterol (at such a young age) down to genes (Familial hypercholesterolemia)? or purely down to lifestyle? If the former, I'm very interested to know the extent to which your lifestyle changes tackled the high cholesterol....have you had blood…

Wow. Just WOW.

Weird, I thought talking you through the process was the POINT of these apps. Download the free C25K podcast by the NHS. It talks you through everything and is REALLY easy to understand.

Great results, well done! You must have been really focused and consistent with your regime. Interesting how your only measurement that didn't shrink was your cup size. Every pear's dream, no? :)

Two super simple tips that I use: 1. When I feel like I want to grab some food, I drink a glass of water instead. This works well because it is quick to get hold of, it is usually in the same place as the food (i.e. the kitchen) and also, by the time you have drunk the water; a) the craving/need to mindlessly eat might…

Very well said! This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Well done all of you for keeping on keeping on. Well impressed!

Huge kudos to all you working Mums (and Dads) for finding time to exercise. I don't have kids AND work for myself (i.e. flexibility of hours during the day) and even I find it tough to stick to my work-out regime sometimes. Hats off!

Incredible. Truly inspirational.

Great progress. Well done!

If your gym does scheduled classes, sign up.

"Sign me up, I want 12" Is that what the woman at the end says? For when you want to exercise all 12 of your butts at once....or?

Fabulous, well written post. Thank you and well done!

Totally!!! Let go of that bad talk forever! Congratulations on your success!

Brilliant! Well done!

(For future reference) This ^^. Then the absolute KEY is to cook at a SUPER LOW temperature (the lowest your oven has likely). The liquid inside should barely bubble and leave it cooking like that for 2-3 hours (or longer depending how low your oven goes!), checking occasionally to ensure there is still enough liquid.…

The SKIN! Removed from the meat after cooking the whole bird and laid out on a baking tray and put back in the oven for an extra ten minutes while carving. MELTINGLY CRISPY.

Brilliant. Was it very tough? Were you a bit fit before you attempted it?

Fabulous!!

Brilliant progress! Keep doing what you're doing!

Inspiring! Very well done!
