I'm trying to recomp. I'm just started doing 5x5 3 days a week at home using my own bench, barbell and dumbells but also going to the gym twice at least using the machines and going for a quick swim. I have trouble gaining weight. But I need to loose fat around my middle and turn it into Muscle. Which I know is the hardest…

Thank you all for your replies. I've set it at 92g as that's about 25% according to mfp. That about as near as I can get with their rounding up. Any lower it goes down to 74g..

Following this as I'm 5ft 2 " and 108lb. Mfp has me on around 1450 Cals a day to maintain. But I think I will add more calories as I go. I'm currently 19.75 bmi and around 81 to 85lb lbm. I'm 5ft 2" 108lbs (very small frame). I work out 3 to 4 times a week for about 45mins to 1hr. Strength training. I want to gain a bit more muscle.

I loved her workouts. God I did them in the 90s when my boys were at school. I remember the leg exercise well, with the chair for support. I had mine on vhs, so I bought a second hand dvd of it on eBay. They were quite strenuous workouts as I remember.

It works in reverse the less weight you use the more of your own body weight your using. I loved this machine at my old gym. My new gym hasn't got one and I'm no where near doing a full chin up or pull up. Where do I start without assistance

Yeah same here. I'm in England so it's a heatwave here. I couldn't eat my dinner last night so I just made a banana milkshake. I can manage breakfast lunch and snacks but my evening meal I don't feel hungry.

Hi. I'm 5ft 2 and a half and 112 lbs. I was 103lbs last year and i had abs. Last to get and the first to go. And I feel I need to get down to at least 107lbs as the excess weight is always on my stomach. I'm 52

Yes it gave me 1200 as I put on it wanted a 1lb weight loss per week. I can see now I really need Muscle gain. So I've reset it all and it's now 1490 calories a day, which is at maintenance atm. Once I get started back to the gym which will be end of this week I'll up the calories if I feel I need to on the days I train.…

Thanks. Although according to that site my average daily intake of calories are only 1286 Training day calories 1543 Resting days 1028 These are way to low for me except for the training days But I'll take on board the protein ratio

Yeah that's what I thought. I tried the 1200 calories for 2 weeks and it's not sustainable for me. I'm not sure about my protein and carb intake either. Is it 1lb per lb of lbm or 1lb per lb of body weight or 0.7 or what? For protein..... Thanks for the replies
