Age: 45 Height: 5’1 SW: 307.8 lbs CW: 300.8 GW: 125 I have not eaten over my calorie daily limit so I’m hopeful that it’s water weight or hormonal issues that has my scale going in the wrong direction. It went up a pound mid week then down again. I’m going to try not to weigh again until next Monday.

Stay within my calorie allotment or eat up to maintenance. Not go beyond.

I’m really emotional today and it sucks. I’m just not sure how to comfort myself without food. My husband is disabled. He has a spine disease that only presented itself when he was in his 30’s. It’s progressive and he may become 100% paralyzed in the future, only time will tell. For now he has some minor issues but a big…

@eliezalot that’s awesome!

@bobsburgersfan Hi thank you for the friend request! For me when I am planning to eat out, I review the menu beforehand so I can know what to choose before I go. It helps me feel like I have control instead of feeling anxious when I’m there. Cheers to making it through today!

@bmeadows380 I’m so glad to hear that your bloodwork came back great. That is awesome. I’m thinking about your diet fatigue and am wondering if exploring some new recipes might help? By no means am I an expert but what I have learned about myself over the years is that if I don’t enjoy my food then I quickly become…

So folks, here I am again lol My husband's birthday is Saturday. How do I calculate calories in cake? I’m planning to make it but don’t know how to log. I’m pretty sure I cannot go without a slice. He wants a vanilla almond cake. It will be a double decker round vanilla cake with butter cream frosting. Do I say cest la vie…

I was like that too. But I found that because I like my food drowning in mayo I am not willing to give up on how much I use, I had to move to light mayo. After the first few times I got used to it. I’ve got so many pounds to lose and my calories per day allotment is pretty small to me so I’ve got to cut where I can. But if…

Oh my gosh, thank you! I really appreciate the compliment. That pic was taken last year when I was 220.

SW: 307.8 lbs CW: 300.4 GW: 125 I’m weighing every two days but plan to only updated here on Mondays.

I’ve swapped my flavored creamer for calorie and sugar free syrup. The creamer was only 35 cal but I had to have 2 so that was 70 cal each cup of coffee!
-
Now you need a tie breaker! My Walmart and cvs have weigh machines. Maybe you can try that if you have one convenient.

@dcshima Thank you so much. I’m in a groove now and very happy with what I’m eating. I’m not feeling deprived and I’m actually full all day. Something in me clicked and it’s just working for now. When it doesn’t I’ll switch thing up!

Today I deleted all of my food apps Dunkin Donuts Jimmy Johns Uber Eats I didn’t like seeing them on my phone all the time. Made me want them when I looked at them. Now I’m happier when I look at my phone the first icons I see are my kindle and MFP

I thought I was but I keep reading people use the lingo eating in a deficit and it got me questioning myself lol Thanks!!
-
Hi! I get what you are saying but when people use the term eating at a deficit am I already doing that by sticking to the amount that MFP gave me?
-
Someone please help me understand eating at a deficit. My MFP ap tells me if I eat 1470 per day I will lose 2lb per week. Is this eating at a deficit or and I supposed to eat less than 1470 to eat at a deficit?
-
First off, read what you wrote. You wrote you have lost 91 lbs in 15 months. 91 !! That’s awesome. Now I’ve been catching up on reading the forum and see that you have quite a lot of stress going on. I was my mother’s caregiver and she died Aug 1. My husband is disabled now and I have a 13 yo. I truly know the mental,…

Previously I wrote that I swapped out Ben & Jerry’s for a party cup. That wasn’t satisfying me. I found a solution! I am now taking a vanilla 100 cal cup, and putting it into a bowl, adding 21 frozen cherries. 100 cal I mix it all together by hand and it really rounds out to make me full and satisfied. Also I’m eating this…
