Congratulations!!! I hope you all have a wonderful celebration. What will you be doing while in Virginia? Anything fun? I agree with Sarah and Robert -- that's great that you're bringing your scale!

Great work! The consistency is amazing so far :)
-
Good luck on today's weigh-in!

That sounds like a fun time, and it's great that you will also get to share some valuable IF info! I know what you mean about the drinks and cheese -- wine and a cheese platter are real weaknesses for me.
-
I'm so happy you're back! I am happy you are feeling better, and I hope that you will continue to improve!

Your beach trip sounds awesome, and you've got a great mindset! And I agree - I tend to only eat once a day on vacation because there is so much going on (even if it's just sleeping/reading in the sun!). I really hope you enjoy your time away.

That set point logic makes a lot of sense to me -- it seems to be happening to me! Good for you on making OMAD work for you :)
-
Awesome progress -- especially with the inch loss!
-
Awesome, Jim!!!! I am going to start implementing the slow eating rule from now on!
-
That's awesome! I have never thought about listening to a lecture before.

@EstrangedTiger they really do! The chicken meal is less than $6, so it's a go-to for times like these when it doesn't make sense for me to do a lot of cooking since I will be leaving town in a couple of weeks for LA and am going out with friends a lot before I leave. The fact that I can get 2 meals from them really makes…

@tlblanks1 it was really good, and I think that picture makes it look smaller than it is. It was A LOT of food! It was just as yummy today, too :p I am the same way -- I prefer dark, but I would've had to wait 20 minutes for it, and I arrived at the store already ravenous!
-
@EstrangedTiger I have heard of that place! I will definitely check it out -- I think I will be in NOLA this fall. @Eddy_65 It was really yummy! Homemade soup really is the best :) Yesterday's info: 6/3 Days until maintenance: 90 Weight: Unknown Rest day = OMAD I ate and drank half of everything in this meal minus the…

@EstrangedTiger it is sooooo good, and you MUST have some when you visit Havana and are not LC because it is made with a lot of sugar. I always get a "cortadito," which is an espresso and milk shot. They actually put sugar into the coffee grounds while brewing! After it's brewed, they add the milk and more sugar. I usually…

Welcome back! You were missed!

Island food was the main reason I couldn't stick to LC when I was engaged (my ex is Puerto Rican), and it was the first meal I had after losing 50 lbs a few years ago that sent me on the dreaded downward spiral! I also absolutely adore Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Singaporean, Thai, etc, and they are all carb-heavy and…

@Llamapants86 that is awesome! Little victories add up!!! May 2018 Me: 31 B: DBF: 191

You're doing great, Donna, especially after dealing with a stressful time. You've got this! Happy Friday :)
-
You are 100% right, AND I am allergic so it never is worth it!!!! Smh!
-
Never thought I would say this, but cowboy boots were a great choice! :D
-
Great drop today!!!! OMAD is your BFF! And I totally feel you -- the pictures definitely did do something for accountability for me as well. I am going to post my OMAD days as well. It will likely be my only real accountability while in LA since I don't think I will have access to a scale!

6/1 Days until maintenance: 92 Weight: 141 Rest day = OMAD I ate an early OMAD like the olden days because I went to brunch with friends. I forgot to take a pic, but I had Cuban coffee and gluten-free blueberry granola pancakes. SOOOO good! I am looking forward to some stretching today because I am super sore, but I plan…

@minigrrll @dkayingram @EstrangedTiger YES! I LOOOOOVE to dance! I am going out dancing tomorrow actually. It's such a great stress relief and SO fun. @sammygold2015 LOVE your new picture! You are stunning!

After reading through some of my old personal journal entries and threads, I remembered how much my long/intense workouts suffered when I was following LC, so I am moving to a more sustainable plan to fuel my new workout routine. This plan should eliminate the need for any snacks, which is super important because they can…

We are always so in sync! I found myself needing to recommit to my plan yesterday, too (though I didn't). It seems maintenance is a real beast for most people, but I know that you've got this! 13 pounds definitely sucks, but I am sure you could've easily gained that back in a month had you followed an unsustainable…

Sarah, you look great! I am not a huge cowboy boot fan, but yours are SO cute!

How's it going, Donna? Also, I don't know what it is about birthday cake, but it is a HUGE weakness for me. I used to bake every week and could easily portion treats without going overboard. Put a birthday cake in front of me, and I will risk it all!

Has your sleep improved at all lately? Mine has gotten better with more exercise, but it's still a struggle at times.
