  • My original goal was to lose 4.5kg and get better at yoga. But my goals have changed during the process. Now I want to lose 1 last kg (for a total of 6kg) and eventually be able to run 10k (I'm barely training for 3k
  • Thanks. I'm much better now. It's time to focus on the future instead of the past :)
  • You're right. Yoga and learning to cook sounds like something that can help.
  • I know this is a place to be positive. But I'm struggling with personal problems right now. Just when I'm so close to my goal weight I discovered that my boyfriend has been cheating on me for the last 5 months minimum. My weight loss is fantastic though, I'm loosing weight even faster than I planned and I have managed not…
  • Yeah. I'm terrible with diets too. Not even balanced diets where there is no restrictions. I just don't like being told what to eat and what not to eat. I like having freedom to eat whatever i want with very generic rules about calories and healthy balance. I know I'm not being helpful. Sorry.
  • I'm feeling very proud and positive today about my fitness progress. Yesterday I did my first "experimental" running training (tomorrow is the "official" start  ) and today I was able to achieve a yoga pose that was specially hard for my weak arms. The whole point of this journey to me is about having more energy, so…
  • This has been a difficult week, but still I'm hitting my main fitness/eating goals. I wish the scale would be nicer with me though
  • Oh this is weird my comment didn't post complete…
  • You're looking great Hollywood! I'm always so self conscious to take photos of myself, specially when my weight is up
  • Well yes but "should have's" don't help us. It's better to leave the past in the past and focus on future habits. One day at a time ^^
  • I think it depends on the habit. I can totally picture myself getting the habit of walking and running in 21 days. But I don't know if I can get rid of my sugar addiction in the same amount of time. In a totally different subject, has anybody here tried to learn/re-learn how to use a bike as an adult? I was not a…
  • I am a stress eater. But I am also a stress "exerciser". The first stress reliever makes me feel guilty afterwards while the second calms my mind. What I end up doing is almost always my own choice, so basically if I am trying to loose weight, I try to focus on activity. Keeping myself busy and not having…
  • Very inspiring. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
  • Yeah I've been doing this for 7 weeks so far and my boyfriend just started to notice haha
  • Sorry about your tummy @Hauntedhollywood I've also done some "sneak peek" weight ins just to find out how erratically weight fluctuates. I've done everything right so I should ignore those numbers even if they are not so good on Sunday either.
  • Haha oh well I'm sure any other fruit can be just as helpful
  • I love peanut butter as well, but I'm afraid I can't control myself around it, so I avoid it
  • Sorry about that
  • Yesterday was a great day. I'm having a lot of fun with the Fitbit challenge!
  • I'm lazy at cooking, I try to make it as easy as possible so I can keep doing it in the long run. So my favorite snack is either tea or coffee with a banana
  • This was not an easy week, I'm still having neck pain after 2 weeks and it's been hard to do yoga as I used to, but I am making at least a little bit of progress. This week I lost 1 pound, which is better than zero but it's not as good as my previous weeks. To make next week easier I need to buy enough healthy groceries so…
  • Hope you feel better @Hauntedhollywood
  • Yes I should definitely have more of that. I haven't measured the water I'm drinking and I probably should.
  • I was behaving "badly" last week, eating more than I should and not exercising enough. Fortunately I didn't gain any weight back but I want to get back on track, no only in loosing weight but most importantly in getting my healthy habits checked. Having said that, I don't want to overwhelm myself either because that's the…
  • I'm realizing now that I never introduced myself  So I'm Cristina, I'm 38 years old, I'm 5'4", I've lost 5 lbs in the last 32 days and I want to loose another 4-6 lbs in the next 12 weeks. I overeat when I'm bored and I binge eat when I'm depressed. I'm constantly gaining and loosing the same 10 lbs, so my main goal…
  • I'm terrible at following specific diets. Watching portions and calories works better for me. However, what I decided to do differently this time, was to follow a very logical advice that I heard in a podcast: getting rid of all unhealthy temptations at home, while filling the refrigerator with lots of fruits and…
  • Yoga is my favorite exercise even if I'm not great at it. Keeps my back painless. But I've been dealing with this annoying pain in my neck for a whole week now (bad sleeping habits) and for this reason I wasn't very active last week. However, no matter how much it hurts, I know that being inactive is not going to help me…
  • I use the FitStar Yoga app, I find it very effective since the exercises are customized for my level  I'm so inconsistent at things, the only way I've been able to advance is by doing a little bit everyday, first thing in the morning, even if it means getting up earlier. If I leave exercise for the afternoon or the…
  • I haven't done any exercise yet. Just food tracking. I plan to do at least 30 min of yoga in the evening, and go to bed early so I'll do my yoga exercises tomorrow first thing in the morning.
