No I just want to make sure no one thinks im claiming thing that I didnt. I just have struggled and finally found something that works. :) so im just excited and wanting to see if other had the same results.

Yes because once you hit your goal weight you adjust your calories accordingly

My dr backed up that fasting like you said above is a calorie control method not magic weight loss. If e eryone would take the time to read my comments instead of jumping the gun theyed see i am not claiming its a faster weight loss plan. It just helped me and thats all I was saying.

I trust that with my health condition that he is a expert in.That he would know how fasting would effect my thyroid. They have to know how anything would effect the thyroid.

I never claimed it was a magic weiggt loss plan. This post was for other people who have fasted and thier experience with it. If your against it fine thats your choice. I wanted to hear from experienced fasters not negitive thoughts. I have seen a postive result and will continue to do what works for me.

I gradually eased into fasting over a three week period.
-
I never said i lost three pounds in a week. I said i lost three pounds in three weeks.

No some people have late night snacks and dinners.

I am going on what my dr told me for my health condition. Not just google.

Thank you. That better sums it up. I have hypothyroidism and was having trouble with losing weight. I consulted witg my dr on fasting and he said the same. It help control calories while giving your body time to digest. Micheal phelps has alot of good ideas on this.

I researched IF before choosing to do this as well as consulting with my dr. I dont starve myself I just eat from 8 am to 6 pm then wait till 8 am the following day to eat again. My dr wouldnt support it otherwise. There are professional athletes that also do this. If your really interested and want to learn about it.…

Its something thats not for everyone and is based on personal experience and how your body is. Im not claiming it to be a magic weight loss plan. For me it helps me feel better and thats whats important. ;)

Google IF to better see the health benefits. It take 8 hours to digest a meal fully after the 8 hour is over your body then turns your fat stores to fulfill its calorie need for things like regular function. It helps your blood sugar levels and you feel fuller quicker because of it. You still eat the same calories you…

I also have thyroid problems and struggle with weight loss. I have hypothyroidism. I lose weight slower even when restricting calories and working out. Im not giving up on me and my goal weight though. You can do anything you put your mind to. Drs have been wrong so many times and they under etstamate people all the time.…

my meals arent any bigger than if I ate normally. the fasting just helps me to not over eat. I read a article that says if you IF then your body will digest better and puts you on a schedule that your only hungry during your eating window. It can also help burn a few extra calories. Also your body will turn to your fat…

Yes. You stop eating at lets say 8 pm then go at least 12 hours till you eat again.

I've just herd so many conflicting ideas about it. Im glad that others support it. It seem like everyone is different and react different to it. I dont think anyone should just jump into a 16 hour fast. Ive been trying to do it slowly.
-
Thank you so much. It took a long time but im learning to love myself and that is really all it takes to overcome the scale number. Social media be damned!
-
Thats awsome! I also feel better. Now if I try to eat a big meal i feel sluggish. My goal is to work up to the 16 hour. I have more energry and eat less. Im glad others are having good progress with this.
