3500 calories is how much you need to burn . So for example if your body requires 2500 calories just to function and you subtract it by 500 you'll be in a decifit eating only 2000 . 500x7 = 3500

I keep my sodium no higher than 2300 daily! Most people are gonna say it doesn't matter but to ME it matters because I care about my diet and overall health but that's just ME.

Yea don't worry about anything too much until you get you're food scale then you'll know exactly everything your consuming . Using measuring cup and spoons are either underestimated or overestimated and majority of the time its overestimated

It's water weight! I was like that when I first started losing weight . It'll slow down more and more as you get closer to losing fat. You'll never lose fat in a fast pace

I used one for years . The men's vest one . never had a bad experience. The purpose of mine is mainly to workout . It made my upper body look really nice . There's absolutely nothing wrong with losing 2lbs a week when you're far away from your goal . When you're closer to your goal then you decrease to 1.5lbs and so on . You can still have a smoothie everyday and eat other things. Drinking only smoothies won't make you lose weight any faster.

Are you a male? Eating 1400 calories per day isn't healthy then your working out on top of the that. Especially at 253lbs your basically starving yourself . The minimum calories a average male needs is 1500. You need to set your MFP activity to active

Are you eating clean? You should have more calories than 600 to play with because your gonna be hungry at lunch and dinner. You're probably always hungry because your not eating nutritional foods .

You won't if you set your MFP activity level to 'Not Very Active' then you'll go based off those calories. You will not lose your muscle as long as your getting your nutrition in .

What about nutrition? Are you eating healthy? Empty calories will have you consistently feeling hungry and on top of the not getting enough nutrition

Actually you should do you're research on why processed foods are high in calories and sodium . They don't just take shrimp throw them in the bag and put them in freezers.

I haven't lost fat in my arm area yet . I measure to make sure. I don't really care about the whole scale thing I know scales aren't always 100% accurate but I take pictures every month of my muscle and it's getting bigger ! And my chest is toning up . It's not from losing weight it's from adding in weight training

I haven't lost fat from my arms yet because I haven't actually lost fat yet just water weight. I've measured my arms BTW. Rather if they scale is wrong or not I know I've gained muscle I have pictures that shows my muscle getting bigger . Has nothing to do with being lean

Yes it's actually easier than what I thought and i use to do cardio only all the time but I didn't wanna flabby so I started weight training and now I love it so much more than cardio .
