I would rather invest in ways to workout at home or with personal trainers. But that's just me.

I can't take the weird after taste.

I'm happy to motivate! Go go go!

Add me, looking for supportive people who plan on logging on daily.

Hell yea. I don't drink either. My tips would be, don't hang out in big groups of people that plan on drinking or barhopping (because it's like being on another planet), and find NA drinks you like for weddings and dinners. I like Tonic water with lime, and it looks like gin and tonic so no one gives you a hard time about…

Yes, I do agree that the fertile days are the horniest, haha. More proof that we are designed to procreate. It's not for everyone, of course. In the families I know that use this method, we understand that unplanned pregnancies might happen, and for the most part see additional children as a blessing. To each their own-…

Thank you. This method works well for married couples. If you'e being sarcastic, I'm not sure why; it actually is a pretty great idea to use your own body cycle to keep track of you fertility. Hormonal birth control is not an option for all of us.

Hi Aaliyah! I have also struggled with eating my feelings away...happy to support you on your journey!

If you're married and exclusively with your partner, natural family planning and the pull out method. Track your cycle and abstain during your fertile days.

50 lbs holy moly that's great! Let's be friends!

Whaaat? How do you live here and haven't tried wonderful Indian food? You must.
-
Mmm hmm. You couldn't pay me to get one.

Is it really necessary to use a scale? Like, couldn't it be that your weight doesn't change but your health/body shape does? ?I'm trying to focus on health instead of weight on this journey What are you doing for exercise? I'm using an online fitness program, which keeps me on track because the workouts are preplanned- I…

Thanks! I'm just finishing Fitnessblender30, probably going to do another one of those when it's finished. I'm too socially weirded out to join a gym yet, but maybe eventually.

30 lbs! Way to go, how inspiring!

Let's be friends. :) I am also a plus-size girl. I discovered exercise a year ago and found out how to exercise for the first time in my life. I fell off the wagon, now I'm back on track to getting healthy and strong! Happy to motivate, encourage, and share fitness tips.

My advice would be forgive yourself and move forward, and try to remember the tummy ache the next time you feel like binge-eating. We all make mistakes, it's ok. I'm also really hooked on sweets and sometimes over-indulge. Lately I've been trying to go slow and really enjoy the junk food when I have it, and remind myself…

I was having that same problem, I wanted to start on a Monday for some reason and delayed myself a few weeks. So at the end of last month I said, screw it, I've just gotta start today (which was a Tuesday). 20-something days down so far, and the momentum has been good. :)

Your story sounds similar to mine! I gained about 50 lbs in the past 2 years and it feels terrible. I've had good luck in the past using fitnessblender programs and I'm one month in to one right now. I joined this site a week ago and it has made me way more aware if how much I'm eating. I'm down to be friends/motivational…

Woah, that's great! :)

New here- friends welcome. :)

I'll be friends! I also accidentally gained 40-50 lbs over the past 2 years and my sense of self worth took a bit of a hit. I think getting strong to prepare for pregnancy is a wonderful motivator! Sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

Here here, Gregg. Same story. 16 days in to take 3, actually. But it's going ok, so far. And last time worked so well that I feel motivated, even though I accidentally fell off the wagon and got fat in between last time and this time...any way, best of luck on your restart!
