Hi, I am almost 64yr and have i have just smashed my first target of 40 lbs lost. However, I would like to lose another 30 lbs if i can. OK, I am just checking in. I have now gone from 208lbs to 179lbs!! Would like to lose another 41lbs so I am going to keep going and fingers crossed will make it by the Spring!! Thats a daunting 70lbs altogether so wish me luck?

Thank you, So if i read it right I should eat maybe 50% of the cals earned through exercise? I do sometimes find it hard to eat enough but I am eating lots of healthy food. I can maybe introduce fruit back in to my diet as a way of eating extra.

who are you to tell me that i am damaging myself. I am eating a very healthy diet and losing 2lb per week is a steady loss and not drastic at all. I am sorry i came on here !

yeah i guess i shouldn't put a target on my weight loss as such, and i am impressed with how much i have lost so far. I suppose i am a bit impatient. If i am honest i need to lose 56 lbs altogether, 19 lost so far so still got 37 lbs to go.

i have been on low carb high fat diet for 9 wks and lost 19lbs. Was going for 20lbs this check in but the last week i put 2lbs on! This means i have to lose 4lb to make my target, struggled all week but have managed to lose 3lb of it, hoping that i will have lost the other 1lb by tomorrow ...

Hovis Half and Half is lovely and its 15g per slice, Nimble wholemeal is 8g but the slice is smaller. Just looking in Carbs and Cals book though and it has white bread listed as 33g per slice! Never seen any that high!
