Adding back carbs makes a very big difference, for every gram of carb your body retains it will also retain approximately 2.7 grams of water and that's just for storing it as glycogen 🙊

Fantastic!!!!!!

A loss despite it being a tough week, but that's good going?
-
I find it is happening more since I switched to a low carb high fat diet, especially on days where I've done a lot at the gym.... Sort of counterintuitive :D I keep my food diary open to anyone on my friends list if anyone wants to see it

Friday check in Calories; ridiculously under but that happens sometimes Water; over Exercise; BodyCombat, spin, and weights Tomorrow: more!
-
You can do it, I'm sure you can! Don't forget what somebody else on here suggested, just imagine somebody has sneezed over the food or touched the plate with hands they haven't washed after coming out of the bathroom. You got this!

Fantastic day!!!!!!
-
It could well be carbs, I eat low carb nowadays, if I do eat normal or even high carbs for a couple pf days I can put on up to 7 lbs, but it comes off within a matter of days (up to 5). Inches are more important than the scales

Fantabadabadoozy!!!!!!

We all know that the food element is by far the most important, exercise is an optional extra which might help things along.
-
Ouch, i hope it feels better soon, sometimes you have to scale things back to allow yourself to get better faster

Hmmm, nahhh, one truffle doesn't wipe out 20 days!!!! Chocolate does have some good properties, I would consider that a small well earned treat, it's ot enoguh to count as a slip, its not as if it were a packet of crisps (chips) or you went out and had a McDonalds! I think you sound go on to day 22

Sunday check in Calories; under ( and carbs good as well 😁) Water; over Exercise; 45 mins spin Tomorrow; heavy cardio day

it is quite normal when you have worked your muscles hard they need to repair, and part of the repair process requires retention of water, so after any hard work out you will usually put on a bit of water weight. My weight can fluctuate wildly especially after her two sessions, after a marathon it goes up by between 7 and…

Your age is in your favour, and even if you do end up with some loose skin, remember; 1. It may be only for a short time, fat is lost at a much faster rate than the skin can shrink back. Skins continues to shrink back over a several years 2. Loose skin is very thin witout fat in it, so won't show up much (it's the halfway…

I do weight them, but i can see why many peple do not. Some are so low in calories, so are not worth weighing, but others (such as potastoes) do have enough calories to make a difference. The main reason I weight them now is because I count carbs, and also if I let one thing slip, I may let other things slip, so I just…

Unfortunatley, that is a fallacy. We do use calories to digest food (refered to as the thermic effect of food), but not as many as we gain from them. THis is a good primer on the topic, with a basic outline http://www.shapesense.com/nutrition/articles/thermic-effect-of-food.aspx
