Just thought I would pop my head in as I have been MIA for a few months. Its lovely to see many familiar faces, and a lot of new ones and reading back on September, some wonderful successes. I hope to be back soon :) I've been away because I have been training and am off to run my first marathon in Loch Ness on the 6th ofβ¦

Fantastic!!!!!!!
-
That's a great way to start here π
-
Yes please, I'll still be here and around, but you deserve a much more consistent motivator π

Sounds fantastic, swimming is so good for exercise, cardio health, and has a good calorie burn :) Great on the self control as well, baked goods can be so hard to resist, that's a definite NSV
-
Fingers crossed all goes as smoothly as possible and you have a rapid and easy recovery

Hi @Kres567 I sent you an email, I think you may have missed it. I love this team and the people, but real life and the reality of a half and then a full marathon are catching up with me and the training schedule is getting hard, making it very difficult to keep up with all the wonderful and mazing people on here. I needβ¦

It doesn't matter where the steps were done, you still did them!

Fantastic! I think @AustinRuadhain summed it up well, after all we can't change the past but we can certainly change our future

Not good rather than catastrophic sounds better. I've missed out on a lot of the preceding posts as I was missing in action for a while, but if there is anything we can do please let us know. I do know that you are a very strong person, probably more than you realise, and you do have an excellent support network here πππ

ππππ Fantastic!!!!!ππππ

I'm sure @TeresaW1020 will be a long to answer your question but in the meantime this is another perspective. In all cases it's always finding what works for you not necessarily what works for other people. If you are going to do intermittent fasting the most common type is 16:8, where you fast for 16 hours and eat duringβ¦

Tuesday check in Carbs; under Water; over Exercise; not so good today as I ended up with more work than expected so just one hour cardio Tomorrow: longer cardio day with more time on the treadmill
-
@apple852hk I weight first thing in the morning before the body weight gets mixed up with additional food and liquids. in reality I don't think it matters what time of day you weigh as long as you are consistent as that will show you the changes. when I'm in weight losing mode I tend to wait everyday, but at the moment asβ¦

I hope you can sort it up soon, as @AustinRuadhain said, it's a bit like cheers here sometimes! It's good to see you when you are here and I hope all goes as well as it could possibly go and your husband finds a new job soon.

Seconded, boot can weigh a lot, Also, with any type of stress (physical or psychological) cortisol is likely to be out, which increases weight as it will promote water retention.
