I use a MyZone belt. Not as popualr as a lot of the others, but I do find it very useful for training.

Nandos is predominantly grilled chicken, healthy and tasty. Harvester is more varied and mass-market pub grub they have a help yourself salad bar with every meal, and there are also several healthier options on the menu including salmon and grilled chicken, and I will give you extra veg instead of chips/ fries. Frankie and…

I use Brooks and I usually get about 500 miles out of them, a good chunk of that will be on a treadmill

Low carb pancakes; mix 1 egg with 1 ounce full day cream cheese, then cook as usual
-
Dried poppadoms, take them up a bit first and then microwave until they puff up

Congratulations. To be honest, and you may not like this, 2 weeks is not a plateau. Weight loss is not linear, and sometimes you will have periods where it looks like it's not coming off, and then there is a whoosh. you just have to keep going and trust that it will work. However the advice about weighing rather than…

No, I think most people don't want you to tell them

Montezuma does a sugar-free dark chocolate bar here in the UK. Also, look at superfoodies cacoa nibs and cacao liquor (no alcohol, the name) that last has only 4.7 carbs (net) for 100g

https://youtu.be/LDuQlLx_TQ4 This is quite good

Me too

Weigh then cook unless it is specifically an entry for something already cooked

I lift barefoot or just in socks when at the gym, much better balance and much more stability

Strap HRM are more accurate, but even those are not 100%. If you want something for exercise only, not to count steps, a Myzone belt is in your budget and very good and easy to use
-
In addition to the above advice, if you want a HRM with an app to monitor in real time, understanding the heart rate will vary in terms of how fast it comes down based on fitness and other factors, there are there. I use a Myzone belt, and find it very useful.

I do this, especially on days when I had a heavy workout. I take a banana up to bed with me , so I've got something to eat if I wake up hungry
-
Seconded for the couch to 5k C25K app, extremely good and well structured
-
Mine seems quite accurate, (Charge 2 HR) it may understate slightly (I do quite a bit of higher impact stuff). My HRM (myzone belt) gives me a higher burn figure, but anything finds it harder to estimate at higher end of HR, so I hope by the lower. I also like it because when I started on this journey it gave me a base…

And taping your feet before running may also help

Taken from Fitbits own page in the flex 2. It does not only allow you to go swimming, it's designed to track distance swam. I know this as I have owned one.
-
MFP does not add the extra calories on based on your steps but on the estimated calorie burn provided by the device that you have linked to MFP. If the steps are exactly the same, the new device is probably estimating a higher calorie burn for the same steps.
-
There are a couple of fitbits you can swim with which are currently on the market. The cheapest is Flex, and one of the larger SmartWatch target is also swim capable. However, if you can wait a little while for the Charge 3, that will give you a high level functionality combined with swim capability at a relatively low…

Weight loss would be so much easier if it were linear. However, while statistics exist regarding the average amount of deficit required to lose a pound of fat, they do vary, and in addition there are some of those that tend to loose in 'whooshes'. this happens where you do everything right and weight should be coming off,…
