Girl, I don't really have an answer - I'm sorry and wish I did - but here's a comment to let you know you're not alone. I'm in almost the exact same boat.

Poor girl. I'm so sorry. I know first hand how hard this is and, if nothing else, please hear me when I tell you that there are fantastic people out there who will truly love all of you. I've lost over 100 lbs, but I also have a genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos which, among other things, means super easy to stretch…

Hi! I'm 40 too, and working on losing my last 10-15lbs ... but I've already lost over 80 since August so I'm on the same path. We can do it! Anyone other ladies in this boat add me too. Support helps so much!

I'm going to request you all! (Even though this thread is a couple of weeks old.) I've been keto since August, lost a fair chunk of weight- yay! - regular training since November, but really struggling with strength and endurance recently.
-
Heya! I, too, do keto and IF. Have been since August and gone from 228>160= 68lbs (I'm 5'4") My IF is usually 20:4, but once or twice a week it's more like 18:6. I love it! Sent you a request and hope anyone else reading this will add me as well! Keep calm and keto on!

Stamina by Shakira keeps me going.

Not what I was hoping to hear exactly, but I appreciate the response very much. My genes are definitely not helping my jeans, and I am eating at a deficit. I hear people recommend Smart Curves a lot. Maybe I'll swap out SL5X5 for it. Thanks again for the info.

My goal is my son's high school graduation late May (plus me ex with his new wife will be there!) I'd love some friends with motivation on a similar tineline.

I think a LOT of us can relate. In line with the "fight back" suggestions, this sometimes works for me/wins against my brain: I ask myself "Would I eat boiled chicken right now?" If it's a hard no, I know I'm not actually hungry - more importantly, my brain has followed that simple logic and it knows I'm not hungry. Even…

Whew! Girl, take a breath. Relax, you've got this, nice and slow. First, understand that you deserve to be fit and healthy. Nothing you've done or not done before this moment makes you unworthy - or incapable. Then believe that you can make good choices, just today. Everything is done one day at a time, so don't worry…

It's worth it for me. The macros alone make it worth it, but I went premium for that so early I'm not even sure anymore what the other differences are. Ads maybe?

Heya! I'm 5'4", I'll be 40 in a few days, and my highest non-pregnancy weight was 258. I'm 170 now, but I still feel like 228 was yesterday. I'd love more pals on relatable journeys to share support.
-
Welcome back! Please feel free to add me (you too who is reading this.) I also find it super helpful to have motivators with open diaries. P.S. Been keto since August and LOVE it. (F/40/5'4" 228>170 so far)

Yeah man, I can so relate. Coming from a place of ridiculously unfit, it's super hard. There is a pre-c25k program I found helpful. It's essentially a couple of weeks that start at 15 then 30 second intervals before the 1 minute. Today is the last day of my second consecutive time through week 1 if C25k, and I might do it…

In response to your sternly written 10-page letter (which was totally a fair assessment for discussion and not a rant): If you look at it all as a form of self care, does that help you accept the hydrobeds and massage chairs? For many people making caring themselves a priority is what's necessary for improvement, in all…

Gadget. You could make your home a smart home one milestone at a time. Active volunteering or donate $X per pound - giving is receiving! Flowers - planted or cut Mani/pedi or massage (especially if you've been working that body!) Create a "happy nook" in your home just for you. Start with a loveseat or chair you love, then…

Heya! It's a tough road, especially with a little one to care for. I have IBD and moderate UC, and a few other GI diagnoses. I've been on keto for almost 6 months and it seems to be helping quite a bit (though it took a while to see that result.) Whatever diet plan you're following, I'd be happy to offer support.
-
Add me! I'll be 40 in <2 weeks and, though I'm under now, was 200+ Just a few months ago. I'd love to have some pals in relatable places in their lives and fitness goals.
-
I am SO grateful to have found keto. Began in August, down 56 lbs and feeling so much better! I'd love more keto pals to encourage and inform each other - any other keto'ers add me if you'd like please.
-
Do it!! All of the replies you've gotten sound correct to me, so I won't repeat them except to say ... There's a wonderful world awaiting you - dive in! I also find it helps fitness - both in calories burned, activity, but mostly in the reduced stress and anxiety it provides.

I do a 20:4 IF most days for months, but I'm definitely hungry those last couple of hours. I've done a number of 24 he fasts too. I'd like to try an extended fast, but I'm nervous about trying to sleep hungry. Anyway, yes, please feel free to add me. IF has become almost second nature.

Hi! LCHF is the way of eating that "clicked" for me, and I'm so happy to have found it. I'm like 5.5 months in now, and finally doing more living than hiding. Yay! Not sure how accountability would work on here, but I'm definitely down to actively participate if someone has a plan.
-
Hi! Not sure I'd feel comfortable kicking a boot at you, but I'll certainly be there to cheer on good choices and celebrate accomplishments if you'd like. I started with almost 100 lbs to lose, and I'm more than half way there. We can do this!
-
I'm about where you are (52 of 83 lbs) and I'm not seeing much difference in the mirror either. Are you losing proportionally? I feel like losing evenly all over makes it tougher for us to see. Here's where I did see it, and I can't encourage you enough to try this ... pictures. Not just looking at them though. For me,…

My goal is 94# from my starting weight, so pretty close! I'm at 50 down now, from August and most days really love this way of eating. I'd love more keto pals. Add me!
-
Yay keto pals! I've been keto since August and am so grateful to have found this way of eating. So far, I've gone from 228 to 178 (50 lbs.) I'd love to connect with and swap recipes and support with others. Add me!
-
I'd love more keto friends! (I'm 4 months and 47 lbs in right now.)
-
I'm in (thanks to @boehle ) Goal of 10k steps a day, 6 of 7 days a week.
-
Sounds fun! Add me please.

Hey! I've been keto 3 months and I'm loving it. Would love more friends who are on the journey to healthy!
